Am I the only one who thinks its weird that ecas updates on wekends etc?? could it be a delay in the system or is that they have people working round the clock??

I'm with you on that one. I wish and hope that they have people working on weekends but the likelihood is probably very slim. I think it's a delay in their system

I don't know if anyone would know the answer to this question, but I ll ask, and maybe someone might know.
So I just got my SA today and it states that my file has been forwarded to New Delhi's Visa Office. However when my husband got his medical done in July, the physician sent his medicals electronically to the Ottawa Visa Office. Is there a reason why his file is getting transferred to New Delhi and not Ottawa? ( my husband works in The States, and has been there 1 1/2 year on work visa- not a american citizen).

Unfortunately its up to CIC where to send your app, if your husband is from India then it makes sense for them to send it there. Unless you get called for an interview it shouldn't affect you negatively.

Hi guys hope everyone is doing well. This morning i noticed on ecas it says under sponsor "in process" and applicant "application received" with two lines saying meds received. I received AOR on 22 jan. Can someone tell me what this means>

I totally can relate... I waited what feels like forever for my AOR...

It will come... Mondays seem to be the quiet day of the week and then lots of good news Tuesday to Friday, sometimes even Saturdays...

That means that they've received your application and are accessing it and they have also received your spouses application for PR and medical but haven't yet began processing his part

Just got my SA! BUT they said our application is being sent to Ottawa...... which is strange because both myself and my husband currently live in Belgium....... We can only hope we don't get called for an interview
