I wonder if they close for the holidays, another thing that went through my mind was if the situation with the refugee intake means they have spread the staff a little more- meaning a longer wait for us..... who knows

I'd be surprised if they didn't get at least a few days off over the holidays; Christmas, boxing day, News Years day at the very least.

I've read elsewhere on the forum that the refugee and family class streams are completely different and we *shouldn't* be affected by it. Here's hoping.

Whats unexpected about that? It can take up to 60 odd days to get AOR in some cases.

Yea, Pretty much what I gathered from October thread; there are people still awaiting for their AORs.
Sucks, I know.

Some don't yet, but some even have SA. I imagine the early Nov people will be hearing soon.
