Just curious...I got SA back on Jan. 15 however ecas is still showing it as being "in process". Will this eventually change to "decision made" and just means that my ecas is just super slow at updating? Lol
For what it's worth, my partner's PR status also reads as "in process" (but only two lines).

I didn't send as much either... but I am sure what was sent is enough...

About 30 pictures, 20 pages of our chats, a few long distance bills, passport stamps, plane tickets and some pages from our Digital top ups...

That does seem like an unusually long period of time. I read another case on the forum where the package was held up in customs for a number of weeks, so it's entirely possible, and unfortunate, that that happened with your package as well.

As mentioned, expect 3-5 days (mine took a whole week actually).

Edit:

To add to that; after receiving AOR I was able to login with my wife's (primary applicant) information, and only after receiving the SA was I able to use mine (sponsor) information to login to eCAS.

Thanks for your speedy responses, everyone! It's disappointing how long it took for my application to be recieved, but there's nothing I can do about that now. I was just trying some different things in eCas and tried using the file number quoted in the AOR email and it worked (I'd been trying the UCI until now). That's a relief. Looks like they started processing the application on Jan 20. Now I will anxiously await word on the SA!

Guys i got aor2 sent to wrong email ... It was sent from new delhi office i had used tht email in previous visa appplication ... But in spousal i req email to be forwarded somewhere else ... I email delhi office is there anything else i can do .. Should i call cic

Oh ohhh... I think you should call CIC and give them the update.

I'm hoping that it's faster. I'm going to try to call Ottawa and see if they can give me an idea of how long they take to process them...but I doubt they will help.

Yeah.. Guh. I've been checking it like 7 ways 15 times a day. Blarg. Someone else from Dec got it so I'm sure it won't be long.. Just 2 more days for it to benefit us on return. Everything crossed!

So here is what I find out about the 3rd line under the new process, it doesn't 100% mean that eligibility had passed, the only way you can be sure if you order your GCMS notes.

Hi Eagle.

My wife's time line is as below.

App filed:- April 30th 2015
Started processing at NDVO as of June 26th 2015.
Med results have been received.

In process since Oct 9th 2015.

I wonder as per new process, the interview has been waived at this stage and background check/criminality check is in process?

Please advise.

I would say yes the chance of interview has diminished at least to 30%, however you better make sure you order your GCMS notes to be double sure that eligibility says pass then we will say the chance of interview is cut down to 0%. Yes Seccrim is in process for sure.

Look on the bright side; you got a AOR2 as most people don't get this update.

I had provided only one E-Mail address on the application forms; I know this means that I would get all the updates but does this have any negative effect on the file?
Like why only sponsor's E-Mail ID is there & not of the applicant!!!
