Hi guys! My husband received his PPR yesterday, March 26th! After a month a a half from my SA. :D It's funny though because I kept on checking his e-mail everyday to see if the Manila Embassy will contact him but the mail was sent to me as cc. They misspelled his e-mail address and I notify them about their mistake. Otherwise we wouldn't know that they already sent him his PPR! Anyway, we're both happy and excited at least we know that his file is in progress! :)

I had my fingerprints done on the March 25th and today I got this:

Good Morning,

In response to your request for a status update on a Civil Criminal Record verification for: XXXXXXXXXXX
Please be advised that the verification in question was completed on: March 27, 2015 and the result has been sent to:

XXXXXXXXXXX
XXXXXXXXX DRIVE
XXXXXXXX ON XXX X4

I guess everything is good and the result is on its way to my house =D

Good luck...

At least you guys are moving forward
Vienna Office has not given me any single answer :(

Finally got SA...OMG!...took 10 days after SA!

finally catching up to you guys!

So after the agent told me my file went to Manila over the phone, today I received an email stating otherwise.
It says our file is being processed in Mississauga and our Confirmation of Permanent Residence Form(s) to Canada is/are ready to be issued, conditional to a final admissibility review by an immigration officer. It requests that my spouse scan her passport, appendix A, and 2 recent passport photographs.

This appears to me much different than the standard procedure, but considering it has only taken 4 months up to this point I'm not complaining! I find it strange that they sent the email to me rather than my spouse and that they're requesting scanned passport pictures (we had included them in the application). Anyone familiar with this?

Is your spouse from visa exempt country?

Happy to report that after getting PPR on February 20th, today my husband in Brazil received an envelope with his passport and his COPR. It's over! It's done! He will be landing next month!
COPR was issued March 3rd, mailed March 9th and received by my husband at home today. March 14th.
My head is still spinning. 4 months! Wow.
Hang in there, all of you, things happen faster than expected!
Good luck to all!

Just reading through this topic... as I am a November Outland Applicant too! Congrats to you! My husbands passport was just requested last week by the Kingston embassy! I am hoping for some good news real soon! It all is happening so fast for us too, I think I am still in shock as I was expecting at last a 18 to 25 month waiting period. Congrats again!

I was wondering if there is a way to request that the application be transferred to a different visa office?

My fingerprints' results were sent to me on the 27th of March and I haven't received it yet.
I'm concerned =(
meanwhile my app is in stand-by.. damn it
What should I do?

And then that one would slow up and we'd all be wishing we'd just left it where it was. ;D

It says your file was transferred on February 12th, shouldn't they have received it by now? Maybe you should look into it...
