Next you will receive an e-mail or letter with your sponsorship approval. In that letter it will say which visa office will process stage 2 of your application.

You should expect to receive sponsorship approval in 1-2 weeks as that is the recent trend.

Thanks for that Andrew!!!

I am feeling over the moon great to have members like Andrew on this forum!!!

Congratulationz everyone. I am glad to see they have started working on November's applications.

Congratulations to all

My visa office is Singapore. They take 31 months to process an application. Will they take exactly 31 month to process ? Can anybody tell me about it please ?

Hello!
We applied on Sept. 11th originally and sent all the paperwork to Processing Centre in Mississauga. We got an email saying the Option-C printout was missing so, even though we sent it right away, our file was put on hold. They considered it complete on November 5th. So I guess we belong to the November 2014 Outland Applications Group. LOL.
We did not hear anything else until January 19th, when we got AOR via email.
I'm the sponsor and my husband is Brazilian so the processing office should be Sao Paulo, we pressume.
Congrats to all of you who got AOR or AOS in this group! Good vibes to all of us!

31 months is the worst case scenario so don't worry, if you find the Singapore thread, you'll see that most applications are processed much faster.

To the ones that have on their profile a FILE TRANSFER date... what does that mean? and how do you find out that date?

you dont. there is no file transfer "date". it simply says the file has been transferred to the visa office abroad. the assumption is the file is transferred the day the SA is received. there's no way to actually know what date it's actually transferred. it can take days to weeks for the transfer to be final. it has no bearing on your application. the application will be batched based on the "received" date noted in the AOR/SA/ECAS. there is no reason to need to know the specific date the file is transferred. for most people, there's no knowing how/when/if the file gets to the visa office. most visa offices do NOT send AOR2, so it's generally a hope and prayer that everything gets sent as it's suppose to.

Thank you

THANK YOU, RhCohen. I assumed there was an "official" File Transfer date because I have noticed several people have one on their profile. So that date is just the date they got their Sponsorship Approval email, correct?
