hii i am completely new to this forum ..my husband hails from canada and he has applied for sponsorship ..we did the documents and thing and submitted to them ...but its been more than 44days no sign of approval ???????war shud we do

When did you apply. I am not sure if you are aware the processing time has gone to 58 days and give or take another 3-4 days after. October applications are still be processed and as of now an Oct 15 applicant has got SA

Guess you will have to wait till they start processing the Nov applications which would be from Jan second week.

My application was received at CPC-M on 04, November.

Waiting to get SA in the second week, January 2015

Its pure speculation. Looks like they are working on Oct 20th applications.

I wonder what the change in imm0008 means? now we can't put in the visa office we would like the application to be processed at, does that mean they are sending it to wherever they feel like (as long as it's either country of residence/nationality)?

Because some of these offices like London, Sydney, and I'm not sure what other ones, are being processed in Canada now because of the long waiting times

As mentioned previously, they are still working on application received on Oct 14th and the current processing time is about 60 days so you should hear back maximum by third week of Jan

Our application was sent and received last Nov. 19, 2014 and it's been exactly 30 days since. Patience is a virtue.

The IMM 0008 form was updated in Nov, the visa office field was removed. You dont have to be concern since its not a major change CIC will not be requesting you to resubmit

Hi guy my wife submit my application at 14 november and my medical will expire at 31 dec 2014 im worrying alot hope they start working on my application before 31 dec pray for me guys thanks you all
