I just submitted on Monday.
I know for sure that they will ask for new forms. There is a little hope that they might not as there is not changes if form which would impact me (no dependent). Keep checking using the receipt Number, you will get to know as soon as your application enters the system.

I'll do that.
I heard on one of the posts that I should have written N/A on my checklist for things that did not apply to me, is that right? or only for the forms?

This is open to interpretation, I would not worry that you did not write N/A for documents that you did not include. That is the point of the checklist. If all were mandatory why have a checklist?

Personally I only ticked the ones I included and left the others blank. That is how checklists work.

Scenario :
Wife (Sponsor) & Husband (sponsored Person).

Can someone go through this list, to see if I have correct or not:

Part 1: Sponsorship forms (Wife)
Document Checklist [IMM 5491] (PDF, 702 KB)
Application to Sponsor, Sponsorship Agreement and Undertaking [IMM 1344]
Sponsorship Evaluation [IMM 5481]
Sponsor Questionnaire [IMM 5540]

Part 2: Immigration forms (Husband)
Generic Application Form for Canada [IMM 0008]
Schedule A – Background/Declaration [IMM 5669]
Additional Family Information [IMM 5406]
Sponsored Spouse/Partner Questionnaire [IMM 5490]

No children or lawyer. Is this list ok?

Looks good to me..
Just don't forget to include PART 3: Information Guide.
Take a look at that. http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/information/applications/fc.asp#immigrate

Good Luck!

Thanks.

My above question was regarding to couple from Bangladesh. It is very confusing because they have grouped all these countries (General Asia [IMM 3907] includes instructions for: Bangladesh, Democratic People’s Republic of Korea, Maldives, Mongolia, Pakistan, South Korea, Sri Lanka and Taiwan) into one catalouge.

For example:

"Authorization to Disclose Information — Pakistan
I, _________________________, hereby authorize the Canadian High Commission in Islamabad, Pakistan
to contact all governmental authorities, including all police, judicial, state and educational............."

But they are from Bangladesh, so this form will not be applicable to them.
So what would they do here?

Other than the checklist everything else seems is required for citizens of Pakistan or Sri Lanka.

Go here, scroll down to Part 3: Information guides and open the correct guide based on your country. In the guide it will tell you what to provide, for example in my guide (Western Europe) for Identity civil status documents the guide says

Provide national identity cards, birth certificates, baptismal certificates or other official document confirming relationship for you and each of your family members.
If you are married, you must include a marriage certificate. If you are now divorced, you must include final divorce certificates; if separated, a separation certificate. If your marriage was annuled, include a copy of the annulment. If your former spouse or common-law partner is deceased, you must include your spouse’s or partner’s death certificate. Photocopy of Citizenship Certificate or Immigrant or Permanent Resident Visa for any family members who are Canadian citizens or permanent residents of Canada.
If you are in a common-law or conjugal relationship, provide proof of that relationship.

Can u please post all the documents that amy husband - applicants need to sign and complete. Please po . Just getting confusedo

Not trying to be a meany or anything, but I think this post is supposed to be for people who already sent in their application in November 2014. I follow the post and get emails about it in order to follow the process of other applicants and be up to date, I don't think asking which forms need to be signed for specific country are related to this topic.. I am sure there are many topics about that elsewhere in the forum.

Hi I am new to this forum and this is my first time posting, I have followed this forum but never actually posted anything, this forum has supported me and my wife through completing our spousal application outland.

I am a Slovak National living in England for 10 years now and my wife is a Canadian citizen, we have been married for over 6 years and have one child together, since our marriage which took place in Canada we moved to England just after our marriage in 2008 and we been studying and working since.

We have completed our spousal application outland in less than 2 months we included medicals which I have done in October 2014 and the criminal record check which we received back in October 2014 as well as all fees paid online and confirmation attached to the application, the complete application with all evidence weight 2.2kg/5lb and we send it through FedEx on the 04/11/2014 and it was received by JAMAL on 5/11/2014.

And now its all a waiting game, did anyone that sent their applications in Beginning of November received confirmation about their applications?
