November 2014 Outland Applications

They didnt return our packages to us...they held them. Ok so i signed all the papers in July and mailed them out' they were delivered in Mississauga August 22 as per my Canada post tracking number. I didnt get an aknowlegmebt letter or anything. The first time I Heard from them was via email on Sept 25th requesting the August version of the form (which sucks because we had signed everything in June/July, how were we suppose to predict the future?!) anyways we mailed the new forms Sept 28th and tracking number said they Arrived Oct 1st and I am still waiting for SA because "apparently" the 44 days starts from when they receive the new forms and Your package is "Complete" sooooo we have Been experiencing a delay because of all this. I called them to see whats happening and they said that On the website it says (Working on applications received on September 29, 2014) so they prob havent opened the envelope with my new form. HOWEVER alot of people whoare in my August group got their SA in the last week or 2 EVEN THE ONES WHO SENT THEIR FORM AFTER ME which means that their Really isnt much consistancy. It sucks

I mean, I never noticed the form had changed until a few minutes after I got home from the post office on te 24th.

Who knows, maybe the change is so Minor that they let people on the cusp slip by. Hopefully they do that for u because the deley is Really frusterating over something like that. Good luck guys!

I spoke to CIC about the updated IMM0008 issue - the rep said it shoundn't matter but they cannot say for sure what the officer decide to do
if they want they can still request the new one to be sent but she cannot confirm what will be the case. Hopefully it goes more smoother.

Do you know if they pick up all applications on a set day? like every Fridays or every Mondays?
I sent my application by Xpress-post on the 24th Nov and it was supposed to arrive on the 25th but it hasn't arrived yet.. scary.
it says "out for delivery" since the 25th.

When I sent in mine, it was suppose to be received by them Fri.Nov 7th, and said Out for delivery until Monday evening ..when it all of a sudden updated saying it really was received on Nov 7th (i guess it took an extra day to get the signature / info back to canada post) which is longer than usual. SO I'm guessing that's what's happening in your case...give it 1 extra day

When I sent in mine, it was suppose to be received by them Fri.Nov 7th, and said Out for delivery until Monday evening ..when it all of a sudden updated saying it really was received on Nov 7th (i guess it took an extra day to get the signature / info back to canada post) which is longer than usual. SO I'm guessing that's what's happening in your case...give it 1 extra day

Did you send it to the P.O BOX or the other address??
It took us so long to put everything together that I'd freak out if the application went missing hahaha

yea i know i was freaking out too then the initial person who posted here had the same issue then that helped calm down

No, I was told not to request signature because they never sign it or something like it. =/

we sent our on Nov 24th and it still says out for delivery. I'm so nervous with that new form because I really hope it won't delay things.

My package sent on Thur 20th Nov. afternoon 4pm from Hong Kong. Guarantee next day delivery by UPS. It arrived CIC mail room on the following day 21st Nov. the morning 9.50am. Signed by KAMAL So fast!
