November 2014 Outland Applications

Hello!Im a November applicant too.Did you guys used the updated Generic Application/IMM 0008(November 2014) Form before you sent in your application?

I didn't too.....my hubby just sent my application on 15th Nov, 2014......so, i am worried about this form :'(

Just noticed I actually sent in the old IMM1344 as well. It's so cheap they would change those forms and not even post a warning. Guess now I have to wait and see what they will do.

It doesn't make sense.. I mean, I just checked and it looked just like the one before.
I really hope that's not a problem.

The change seems to be that they removed the option for visa office selection!

IMM1344 was changed in August 2014, I sent in the June 2014 version by mistake.

About IMM008: I emailed the consultant and she said that the new IMM008 came out at the end of last week, and if a person's application is dated before it came out, then the person shouldn't worry, as the change was minor and no vital information has changed.

Actually you calmed me a little bit, my husband has signed the application forms on the 13th I signed mine before that..It took some time for the documents to arrive since from over the seas..CIC will receive my docs tomorrow through UPS.

I have 1 more Question Regarding Additional Family Info imm5406 ..this new form requires only 1 signature right??
Because Ive heard abd also seen that there was a old one that required 3 signatures on the 3 sections of this form.?

Actually you calmed me a little bit, my husband has signed the application forms on the 13th I signed mine before that..It took some time for the documents to arrive since from over the seas..CIC will receive my docs tomorrow through UPS.

Note you can only do this when you have a post count of 10 and higher.

Sorry to worry u some more but they prob will need an updated form. I am a August applicant and most of us had to Send in a new form...Even some people who sent their application in July had to Send the August form which isnt fair at all.

Yes...IMM008 got update on 21st November n thts why many people on forum found out on 22nd. To save time I would suggest all November n october end applicant that there is no harm in filling up new form n sending it to ur sponsor in Canada. This vl save ur time in future n DHL money too so when CIC ask fr update forms your sponsor can send dm in no time....

They didnt return our packages to us...they held them. Ok so i signed all the papers in July and mailed them out' they were delivered in Mississauga August 22 as per my Canada post tracking number. I didnt get an aknowlegmebt letter or anything. The first time I Heard from them was via email on Sept 25th requesting the August version of the form (which sucks because we had signed everything in June/July, how were we suppose to predict the future?!) anyways we mailed the new forms Sept 28th and tracking number said they Arrived Oct 1st and I am still waiting for SA because "apparently" the 44 days starts from when they receive the new forms and Your package is "Complete" sooooo we have Been experiencing a delay because of all this. I called them to see whats happening and they said that On the website it says (Working on applications received on September 29, 2014) so they prob havent opened the envelope with my new form. HOWEVER alot of people whoare in my August group got their SA in the last week or 2 EVEN THE ONES WHO SENT THEIR FORM AFTER ME which means that their Really isnt much consistancy. It sucks
