Congratulations to all who have received SA.
We received our SA today as well!
Our application was supposed to be forwarded to VO in Rome but it has been sent to Ottawa instead.
Specifically the email says:
You have met the requirements for eligibility as a sponsor. Accordingly, the Application for Permanent Residence for your relative(s) has been forwarded to a visa office abroad for further processing.
Should you need to submit additional information or make any further enquiries regarding the Application for Permanent Residence for your relative(s), you may contact the visa office by e-mail, fax, or in writing as follows:
CPC-O - Case Processing Centre Ottawa
CPC-Ottawa, NHQ - Centralized Processing Region
219 Laurier Avenue West
Ottawa ON
K1A 1L1, Canada
This visa office was selected based on your relative’s home address and the requirements of the Immigration and Refugee Protection Act.
According to what I have read so far I would like to believe that it might be a good thing.
Assuming that our case might be quite straightforward, our application should be processed faster.
Does anyone have any idea?
