Hi All,
I am new to this forum and just joined it. I initially applied my application in August 2014 but missed a signature and I received it back in October. I sent it back again and landed up in November processing.

Thanks to a member on this forum who suggested to login to cic website using PR card # instead of application #. I was never able to find any record using my application # but I just checked the status using my PR card # and here is what it shows online:

1.We received your application for Canadian citizenship (grant of citizenship) on October 31, 2014.

2.We sent you a letter acknowledging receipt of your application(s) on December 11, 2014. Please consider delays in mail delivery before contacting us.

3.We started processing your application on January 6, 2015.

4.Your file was transferred to the Scarborough Citizenship Operations office on January 22, 2015. The Scarborough Citizenship Operations office will contact you.

Now, when they say that the file was transferred to Scarborough Office, does it mean I will get the invitation for the test soon? Is there anyone whose file is getting processed in Scarborough Office?

Thank you all!

Harnit

This means that your file has been transferred to the local office which in your case is the Scarborough one. They will do all the next processing and if all goes well then yes you should get test invite.

Did you receive an AOR mail/email at all ? Plus, how to you enter your PR card number ? Do you enter "PAXXXXXX" or just "XXXXXX" without the "PA" part ?

Hi Datascientist,

It takes about 3 to 4 days for ECAS to be active.

Hi AsianIndian,
I received AOR via email. They also sent me the link for Discover Canada book. They said they will not be sending it by mail as I provided my email in the application.

Yes, you need to put PAXXXXXX for PR card to check application status.

Hi RajevSantik,
It is so true. As per the timelines, I should have been done with the test this week if I did not miss that signature. But, it is what it is. It was my bad so I have to deal with it. :)
