May be they were short of resources and transferred file to Ottawa to reduce the load!

Ok. Faxed it. Fingers crossed and hopefully they'll update my status to IP within a week.

Hello Buddy, did you got your status changed already after you fax the additional information. I faxed it too but didnt included the cover page with my name and all details since I have attached my email page that says that all as per the instructions in email.
Wondering if I can send fax again with the cover page attached?

Thanks man. I was thinking Xpresspost, but i'll look into priority as well.,

Received yesterday (June 16th). Impressed by Canada Post!
Status: Still "Application Received" ::)

What the hell is going on with this now I'm totally sick and tired of this process I'm November 20th applicant nothing changes since may 15th for final payment...... Yet people in December and January got in process already people who applied in December and January don't post in here bitching about waiting start a thread for your month of application as it says November applicants ......
It's clear to see that Canada has realized there isn't such a need for us immigrants now hence why the Alberta nomination program has been wound down 5500 nominations a year maximum and up to 12 months waiting time something's telling me they don't need us "immigrants" any more well there isn't exactly that much to race about in canada ridiculous distances between towns and city's and they are about 20 years behind Europe in almost every aspect aswell with the automobile industry every car that might appeal you can get in USA but oh no not in Canada. You know what canada isn't all that all this waiting and for what?........ Just saying
It's not an easy ride for anyone here so why should the government make it so difficult and awkward for us locked down to the same employer and they know full well we all get treated like shit and do nothing bout it the whole process needs to be changed we have human rights aswell and shouldn't have to put up with low wages and bad conditions in a work place whoever dissagrees is dreaming look how nationals are treated and compare that to your self do you feel safe and comfortable in your job ? Or do you feel like if you do one thing wrong your hole future and plans are f***ed

FYI,
They have an option to "Withdraw Application" for people who are really sick and tired of this country.
Why don't you move to Europe or America if you believe that we are decades behind them.
B******T

Strange...I did not get a fax number in the email they sent me. Can someone please help me get the fax number for Sydney, NS office?

Calm down my friend.. I am not sure if any Dec/ Jan applicant got inprocess even if they got it there is no reason for you to object as your file may be on hold for other purposes.. I would suggest to order GCMS query.. Because you are RESIDING in Canada ACCESS OF INFORMATION ACT is applicable and you can formally request them to provide you details on how they are processing your application. It is $5 for applying and they will reply back via Email in 30 days... This report will have the officer's name and along with the timeline and reason of the delay if any... if you look online the normal processing time is 18 months.. so you should have known that and by any chance if it gets processed before that than you are lucky.. Remember PR is not your Right but a Privilege from Canada, so be patient ...

Also you can change your job after you receive your medicals, sticking to the same jobs is recommended but not necessary. I know many people who changed their jobs after PR and there weren't any issues ( except processing delays in 2 applicants out of 5 who changed their jobs) . I do understand how much it hurts to go to work the job which you hate or dont want to do. I would suggest you that you should change the job or sit tight as they will be updating your status within a month from what I see. Be calm my friend. Everything will work out for you.
