yeh that is what I was planning since that confirms all major status of the application uptill now and I guess this is the only document pending for me to submit w.r.t to my application.

I believe both are similar. If you are applying for Indian Police Certs, u get a "PCC"(bcuz thats what is says on the letter) and not PVC.

It's very sad on my part, as the application package for CEC has returned to me because of failed transaction. I provided my friends CC details and have no idea why the transaction failed. Now I need few suggestions from you expert people. So, please help me and clarify below queries:-
1. Can I send the same filled forms again to CIO? I can see small red tick marks in the forms.
2. I am going to use foreign currency DD this time. Please suggest if there is any other good option for payment. I want to be very careful this time for the payment.
3. Do I need to attach the explanation document I have received from CIO along with the package to be sent?As per me, this may help them to process fast. It's just my assumption. Please suggest.

you need to use CAD$, are you sending it from INDIA..?

No it wont process it fast..Every time application comes in it start from initial phase

-- No You will have send new forms. Do check the website as some forms were updated recently. Ensure u use the latest forms
2. I am going to use foreign currency DD this time. Please suggest if there is any other good option for payment. I want to be very careful this time for the payment.
-- The currency will have to be CAD. You cant send equivalent amount in another currency. You could use your Canada CC, Money Order.

-- No. When you mail again, its a new process and its take its own sweet time.

I am planning to use HDFC Bank CAD Demand Draft [Need to pay more INR to get CAD draft] as I am in India and my Canadian CCs are deactivated...

If the form was not changed you could send the same forms. I returned all the same forms except the one I had to change some data and it was accepted second time. But you can also send new forms if you decide.

I thought that too, so that's why I sent their letter and the same forms they were already looked at. It didn't make them much faster
I received AOR couple of days before other guys sending on the same date, but I'm not sure if that's because the forms were already assessed or it was just my luck.

Thanks Zoran. Even I am planning to do the same.I was just waiting for a reply in the forum to get confirmation from somebody who had sent returned forms. You have saved a lot of reprints of the forms. This in turn saves paper=>trees.

Some observations in the returned package:-
1. Documents should never be stapled. Some of the supporting docs are teared, because of the staple removal.
2. Immigration office requested for processing the application [Generic Application Form for Canada [IMM 0008]]= CPR, irrespective of country you are living. [Correction done by officer checking the forms in CIO]

Nope. Use the below link to apply for GCMS Notes. It doesnt ask you to submit any consent form. However there is a place where i may ask to upload some document(which is optional). I have already received one and just requested for another.

via email. thats because i asked for the copy to be emailed. i guess you can choose the format "CD" when you apply, not sure if it comes at an extra cost
