If you provide right information than I don't think have any problem don't worried and best of luck

Thanks Samir and I'm choosing to think it will be fine #powerofpositivity! It is just nerve racking when persons on the blog mention applications being returned for missing NOC codes..or incorrect filing.... but all will be fine..all will be fine! :)

got my AOR today 8:06 pm

good start of the year..

lil bit excited for the next step...

hoping everyone will have it also..

November was the month of change in the CEC conditions and application forms. Some of my application forms submitted (around 20th NOv) at that time were not the updated forms. Could any one suggest this would result in rejecting my case or would they request for submitting the updated forms. Can I send updated forms to CIC before receiving my AOR?

If form change after you submitted ur application than its fine.

I think he meant he submitted old form after 8th november and he used form which were there on site before 8th to submit application after 9th november.
in that case document checklist got changed and Employer reference letter needs to have noc code in it.
What do you thing in that case? Though technically there isn't any difference in the new forms.

Hi,

To all those to who got AOR so far. Are there any November applicants in this forum who got AOR without attaching an Employment Reference letter in the application? I submitted mine in December without one. Just wanted to understand if CIC accepts the application even without the Reference letter.

Thanks.

Reference letter is a requirements and chances are you won't receive the AOR.

Thanks for your response, Toby

I have submitted few supporting documents (Letter from colleague) instead. Has there been anyone in Nov who submitted the application with supporting document and without Reference letter and has received AOR?

Hi Guys, I took a gamble by submitting my application without the reference letter since my employer is not willing to give it. I submitted a bunch of supporting documents - Paystubs, Offer/Pay Package letters, HR emails, certificates, T4, NOA, Application for my current WP, Covering letter etc as supporting documents. I was hoping to get lucky and got my AOR ydy. (App received - Nov 19/AOR - Jan 6)

With that said, it doesn't mean that the emp reference letter is not required as it is a very important document. I m still trying to get one and i m expecting that CIC would ask me one anytime during the PR process. So i would saym, try as much as you can to get it. If you run out of options then do it as a last resort. I was running out of time on my WP and decided to send my application without it. If i get it i will add it to my application. All the best!

I am also riding on the same boat (Nov '13 applicant) I got one email so far last month which mentions UCI, Application no., Receipt number (as I paid through CC). Now, I can check online my application status and which says "1. Application received on 5th Nov" - Where is this AOR ? or should I be getting any other intimation ? what will be the next course of action ?

Appreciate the seniors to help me with my queries.

Cheers,

Abhi

i am still looking for answer for this
what time normally credit card charge?
what time normally we get aor?
option
morning or noon or evening or night or no specific time

My case as well as few of my friends - CC debit could be witnessed only late in the night (in the credit card statement)

Reasons - CC debits can't be just predicted. Becoz it all depends on the bank posting that entry. But within 2 days time of debiting a CC, CIC sends the AOR
