November was the month of change in the CEC conditions and application forms. Some of my application forms submitted (around 20th NOv) at that time were not the updated forms. Could any one suggest this would result in rejecting my case or would they request for submitting the updated forms. Can I send updated forms to CIC before receiving my AOR?

Guys, Finally got my AOR ;D
I was really starting to get worried but now its such a relief!

App received date Nov 19 --> 49 days. They have taken the payment from my money order on Jan 2, 2014.

I got mail from cic with UCI and Application number. It says cc charged etc and receipt #.

Is that the AOR number?

Application recieved on 20th Nov.

Yes that is your AOR mail (Acknowledgement Of Receipt)
UCI is your Client ID, which is same as in your Work Permit
Application Number is your CEC Application File Number - use this number for any further communication with CIC regarding your CEC application.

Congrats everyone who received their AOR thus far! My application was received on Nov 20th and I used a bank draft. In my nervous wait I was just going over my application to ensure that all was well and found that i made an error on my background/declaration form ( sigh) :'( so basically I ticked yes to the wrong question but answered it correctly with an attached note. Please tell me that they would accept this( really hoping)
