I received my PPR lastnite around 10:30. May be VO is working OT..
I have already sent my passport this morning. Any idea how long does that take for stamping?

quickest might be two weeks

MR, rprf, ppr are all sent In batches. They queue it up during the day.. Realized this based on a note in gcms . It says rprf sent as Batch xxxxxx something.

But I'm happy to see vo making progress with backlog applications. Congrats ! Happy for you.

Hello every one

Iam a Nov 19th 2012 applicant and closely follows this thread. I have not got any updates so far after AOR in jan 2013. I know after closing all visa offices out side Canada , PR files have been now moved to Ottawa location. When i was applying , I have selected Immigration office requested for processing application as "Newyork" in the Form and some of friends selected this as Detroit. Iam just worried whether my application is getting delayed because of this and my file was moved very late to Ottawa ? Any one of you have selected the location and got your MR ?

I have applied GCMS notes and waiting for the same...

That should not affect your application. Have you submitted police certificates? To be on the safer side, just email Ottawa office, which is currently processing your application.

Yes , I have submitted my police certificates in August first week only. What to ask in the email ? Should i just ask about status , please advise
