Hi fellow November applicants!
I landed yesterday in Toronto! Went back home for a couple of weeks to visit family, which was great. Already applied for my SIN and health insurance.
Best of luck to those of you still waiting; may your COPR/Visa come with all possible speed!

Thanks, and congratulations!!
Have a happy life with your loved one! You too, enjoy each and everyday together!!

Congrats everyone who have recently gotten.their visas or have landed :) i officially have a sin number and now the next step is applying for OHIP, but i have to wait til somehing is mailed to me at this address for proof that im actually living here now. Hoping i can gt health coverage as soon as possible because i really should be getting my blood checked

For those who have already landed how long was it from the time you saw decision made on the webiste to receiving new from CIC?

And when you received the next step as in letter was it an email or a hard snail mail letter?

I jusr saw that my status changed to Decision Made, a great 1yr anniversary gift from CIC 7/12/2013

Just monitor when your ECAS home address gets updated to Canadian Address ... i think that's the day they should deliver your COPR . Congrats...

Hurray for our side!!!! Our Ecas changed to Decision Made this morning :D After a two month delay because the passport request didn't get to us, things have moved really fast since. Does anyone know how long it "normally" takes for the COPR to hit the mail system? (and I use the term "normally" knowing I'm talking about CIC here)..

We are SO happy...what a great way to start the week.

Hello Everyone

Just want to let you all know that my hubby got PPR on the 4th of July, he received an email from the VO on the 8th of July to say that his visa was issued and ready for collection. He got his passport with Visa and COPR back today!!! Our ecas went from 'in process' to 'decision made' after PPR request. Thank you all for your support over the past long months!!! BrazilianGirl, please kindly add this to the spreadsheet.

Good luck to all of you who are still waiting and hopefully it will not be too long before you get your applications finalized too:)

Byeeee :)

Congratulations Jujubee, IslandAnnie, MrsN and everyone else who got PPR, COPR or landed!
It's so good to see things happening despite the strike...
Happy for you guys and may you find happiness and everything you're looking for in Canada!

How many people are still waiting from this group? Can't be many of us left...

Thanks @ brazilliangirl
Once I've written one more message I will send my info to add onto the spreadsheet :)

Well, there are 34 people who already got their visa, landed or had the PPR. There are still 31 people waiting for PPR. But then, I've sent Private Messages for all of those who has only had their sponsorship approval to see how things are going, and not many replied back. Maybe they already gotten their visas and abandoned our thread without sharing the good news with us... :(

Congratulations to IslandAnnie and Jujubee for the "Decision Made", and MrsN for the Visa and COPR!!!
Again, it's always exciting to change the colours of the spreadsheet!! ;D

Congrats to everyone those who have landed or received their visas. I'm still waiting since my visa office timeline is 23 months however I request my gsm note a month ago and it's just got it back today. They didnt start the background check, eligibility or criminal record basically nothing just passed the medical.hopefully they pick up the work.

OMG! It's so good to hear from you!
I hope you have a speedy process!! We never know, the 23 months may go down to 13 or less...
Good luck to you and all the other people still waiting (like me).

I'm still watching this thread with interest. We got our COPR (for my wife) back in March but haven't landed yet. Our situation has been ten times easier than most of you because we've been together the whole time. In just over two weeks we're moving to Canada together and will go through what I hope will be an easy landing procedure. There's lots of work to be done getting ready to fly 'home.'

All the best to those of you still waiting. Good things come to those who wait!

Im still here browsing, they emailed me too say that my application is in process but my cic status has not changed. We have been living together in the UK for about 2 years now and were flying to Canada next week for a 6 week holiday which includes us flying to Jamaica for our wedding ceremonies so both our families can attend to so we can all celebrate together with 150+ of us flying over...

Hope i get good news question is, if they request my passport and i'm on travel during that time, do i need to fly to Canada to get it finalised in a time frame or i can go to Canada whenever?
