Hi everyone!! I have to share my good news with "my" group: November applicants!! :D
Just checked Ecas with my husband's file number and it says: "A decision has been made on your application. The office will contact you concerning this decision".

Our application was sent on Nov.21st 2012
Sponsorship approval: Feb.21st 2013
Medicals done : August 2012
All fees were paid when we filed the application

Now...we're happy but I am also wondering what does it means? what are usually the next steps. Some people are called for interviews, some are not.....what "generallly" happens when you receive that message"? Is it good news, does it means that they'll ask for PP soon, or does that mean an interview is coming? Just curious.... it's exciting to see that things are moving on our file. Our case was pretty straigthforward in our eyes, I hope it's good news. Any idea how long after DM is posted to hear from the VO?
Thanks everyone in advance for any feedback. I am sooooo happy but yet, I am not sure what it really means!! I can't wait to have my husband here with me.....it will soon be a dream come true I hope!

PS: I have also posted this message on the general board....I just want any feedback from people who have been through this before so I can have an idea (I know that every case is different) what's coming next. OMG...I am thinking about my trip next month....dreaming that my hubby could come back with me!!! ;D ;D ;D Do you guys know how long is the visa good for? Is it a few months?

Many many thanks in advance for your answers. :-*

Congrats on the update. I agree with the advice Sweden provided. To send a case specific inquiry to see what your Decision Made is about. As for how long the visa is good for. It will expire on the date your medical expires or passport, whatever is first. Hope that helps!

I don't want to mess with the spreadsheet but if the powers that be could update mine that would be awesome!

Passport was requested on April 23rd, interview was waived. My destination in Canada is Vancouver!

(When I checked my ECAS at the end of last week it had changed from in process to Decision Made, waiting patiently for what I hope is my COPR to arrive at my parent's house in FL. And by patiently I mean that I'm calling my parents every day to see if it's arrived yet lol. When I clicked on Decision Made it said I would be contacted regarding their decision, so I assumed since I didn't receive an email that it's good news..right? It's probably good news RIGHT??!!! lol)

Congrats to everyone who has recently had good news!! :D

From what I read elsewhere, a NEGATIVE 'Decision Made' can only occur AFTER an interview (although no doubt there are exceptions). Since in your case your interview was waived, I think you are on pretty solid ground feeling optimistic. I'm pretty sure if CIC had any doubts, questions, or issues to clear up, I'm sure you would have been asked for either additional documentation, or an interview, or both.

Enjoy, not many more hoops to jump through!!

Wow!
Thats great about the decision made,Ive been checking mine and it has never gone into process!
Go figure! This just goes to show ya that they really don't update these things,or maybe depending on your officer.....

Hi all. I will be updating the spreadsheet this weekend. I will post when i am.complete! There is lots of coloring to do!! I apologize for the delay, but with traveling and needing my laptop to do it, I fell behind. But look this weekend!

To those waiting for news, fingers crossed for you all!

Hahahahahahaha!!!!
Everything is just fine, girl! It'll be there very soon.
Congrats!!!! :D

Ladies and Gentlemen- MY COPR HAS ARRIVED!!!!!!! My mum just phoned that my brown envelope had arrived at my parents house, can't tell you what a weight has been lifted off my shoulders! :P
I'm bouncing off the walls right now, sooooooooooo glad it's almost over! Ms. Malawi I need to add another stat to the spreadsheet! Most mail I've received from Canada usually takes about a week to get to FL, so I'm going to assume that my VISA was issued around May 1st..

Once I've officially landed I still plan on staying around to help other people through this process and cheerlead those still waiting..we got this guys! One day at time, we're all going to get there!

Hi Ms Malawi
I have not been on the forum for ages and have just logged in and noticed (from the spreadsheet) that you have just got passport request from Pretoria!!! Congratulations, you must be so pleased! My husband's file is now in Pretoria, he received an AOR from Pretoria, so we are now just waiting!

Thank you Mrs. N. I can tell you after our interview that Pretoria processes straight forward cases quickly. So if its in Pretoria, you should be hearing something soon!!

My husband just received a letter in the mail saying we need to pay the "the right of permanent resedency fee" and submit a FBI clearance.

Does this mean he got the pr?
