Ha! An interesting detail. I just went back and checked my sponsorship approval letter. "Officer RSI." I had not noticed that before. Probably officer "Repetitive Strain Injury!" Do you really think this is the officer's initials, or just some kind of intra-department code?
This is the point the waiting has already reached, we're down to comparing the nitty gritty details on these documents.
I've been meaning to post this tidbit for a while: according to the banner at the top of the forum, I've been logged into the forum for 19 hours and 30 minutes. The hours climb steadily in proportion to how much I'm obsessing and thinking about getting this process sorted and done with. Anyone else care to divulge their "hour count?" ;D Happy or what?? Yes I am. I finally got a hold of an agent today, around 11h30am, when I first heard that the waiting time was 10 minutes, I was like "what? did I hear 10 minutes"?? I was almost shocked!! They were not hanging up because of high call volume!! The agent was super nice, and seemed very happy to let me know that my sponsorship application was approved on Feb. 21st and it was mailed then. I should get something in the mail soon. For those of you who are still waiting for stage 1, my application was received at CIC on Nov. 26th, never heard anything, no AOR, nothing before I called today! Glad I did!! Good luck to those who are still waiting, it's worth calling, I am pretty sure they'll be done soon if it's not already done with Nov. applications. Cheers!
Great news! Congratulations! I too finally got through but I didn't realise that it had to be the sponsor calling, not the applicant.... DOH! I'll have to make hubby a really good dinner tonight to bribe him to call them tomorrow! Fingers crossed for everyone else!Bibiche said:;D
