Just think, all those days you spent worrying about it and you've had the approval for such a long time! My suggestion is to take the weekend to enjoy and be happy. GUESS WHAT!

we've been approved : ) they confirmed it over the phone with my husband that they sent him an e-mail on December 9th, 2012 to the correct e-mail address but he and i never saw it in his inbox or even his junk mail. is there any reason anyone could think of why it may have not gone through? he tried to have them resend it but apparently it's against their policy to send it out again once it's already been sent, not that it really matters lol we're approved and that's all i could ever ask for on my birthday : ) thank you all for being so patient with me and letting me come here and vent! so glad i found this forum and let's hope that stage 2 comes much faster than first stage did, and hopefully the e-mail gets sent to me this time lol! oh and btw my file has been sent off to the Los Angeles office, just in case that needs to be added to the spreadsheet... not sure why it's gone all the way out there and not to Ottawa though.

So I checked my ecas just randomly and it shows my wife's name and it says Application Received. It was received on November 28th.
Hopefully we will get our approvals by next week.
Can you please update the spreadsheet to show that my application was received Nov 28th

thanks libellula! and everyone else for all the birthday wishes! can't believve how good the spreadsheets looking so money of us already past first stage approval and only a few more to go : ) excited for the rest who finally get to hear that good news!! yes i was one of the first to apply in november, it's not so frustrating that they didnt really do it in order as much as it is frustrating that i had my approval two months before i found out lol. oh well, i just hope that just cause there was one glitch there's not another somewhere along the line : / happy early birthday to you too libellula just in case i dont get on here that day!!

No hyphen is needed when you put in your client number

I think it might take a little while to put new people in the system. Is this the first time you've received a Client ID? If so how long ago did you get it?
I had a client ID from the last time I reapplied to extend my stay in Canada... I never thought it would work to log me into eCAS until I just randomly tried it one day with the Client ID I had and bam there was all my information lol.

It wasn't working for me for a long time. It was only Friday evening that I could see.
So hang in there. Hopefully by this week we all get our approvals
