Congrats for your nomination!
Dont worry, 600 points will reflect soon in your EE profile and soon you will get ITA.

Thanks , just that the next draw might be on Wednesday 29th June and I need to submit my pr app asap as my pgwp is about to expire. I want to use aor to apply for my work permit extension instead of nomination certificate as am still working in another province currently.

It is Ok , by the way what was the nomination number in the email you received from Nova Scotia Office of Immigration. Something between 160 and 170?

Hello Everyone,

Congratulations to those who have received their AORs.....however things seem to be moving at a snails pace once again :(.
Any new nominations this week?

Indeed. After everybody received their pre-aors in june, thought that things would move fast and soon everybodys wait would find an end. But again the old setup has started in the snails pace.

Hi Guys,

I have some queries regarding application for Nova Scotia.

As per their application guide:

Category 2: Paid Work Experience in an Opportunity Occupation
You have at least one year of continuous full-time (or 1,560 hours or more) or an equal amount in part-time paid
work experience in the last 10 years in one of the opportunity occupations listed in Appendix 1.

At the bottom of their application guide they have a section Appendix 3 – Forms and Supporting Documents Reference Sheet

Work experience
For the principal applicant:
The applicant must have accumulated at least one year of continuous full-time paid work experience, or the
equivalent in continuous paid part-time work experience, in the occupation identified as their primary
occupation
, that is listed in Skill Type 0, Skill Level A or B of NOC 2011.
In order to meet the minimum requirements, the applicant’s skilled work experience must have occurred within
the 10 years preceding the date of their application.

Now this is a bit confusing for me:

My work experience is:

Sep 2008 - Jan2010 (NOC 2173) In Nova Scotia opportunity occupations list
Feb 2010 - Current (NOC 2283) Not in their opportunity occupation list

My questions:

1. Can i apply for their program showing the experience of NOC 2173 as it is in more than one year and in the last 10 years.
2. In appendix 3 they state that the work experience must be in the primary occupation and as per CIC website the primary occupation is for the last five years. Can i still apply as NOC 2173 experience is more than 5 years old?
3. This is more of a question for Express Entry profile. Where it asks for your primary occupation can i put NOC 2173 as my primary occupation?

Thanks

Yeah 2 guys who were June Applicants got nomination in their EE profile yesterday. They will let us know the nomination number as soon as they receive email from NS. Processing is going on but at a rate of 11 months for AOR and 12 months to issue Nomination. This is the fact.

Whoever receives Nomination email please let all of us know Nomination Number.

Hi There All,

I have received AOR(acknowlegement of receipt) and sent my work experience details. I applied on NOC 2147(Computer engineers except software), do they require any sort of license?? like P.Eng license.
