Godhelp, we do not have many instances based on posts in this forum and similar discussion fora to come to the conclusion that Calgary office is issuing a lot of RQ. If you check the spreadsheet we use in tracking our timeline, very few RQ cases. I will therefore urge that you remain positive. Requirement is 1095 days and your 1100 physical presence days in 4 years exceeds this requirement.godhelp said:Friends,
Is calgary office issuing a lot of RQ these day???
I sent my application with just 1100 physical presence days.
thanks,
Godhelp
Godhelp, US ties, especially any tie that has some legal resident status (Green Card, HB1 visa etc) is often a red flag and I have read in many online discussions that these ties trigger RQ. Since you can always move freely between the two countries with your HB1 and your Canadian PR, citizenship officers will often require to carry out extensive travel and residence checks to ensure you have really stayed the number of days you claim on your citizenship application.godhelp said:thanks femzade. I have one more question.
I have submitted my canada citizenship application. I also have H1B visa
to be able to work in usa. Now if I go to US for
work during my application process, does cic still have problem
with the same, and would they cause me problem in future
because i was working outside canada during my application process ???
thanks,
Godhelp
freetorch, RQ can be issued at any stage of the process, it depends on the trigger. I have seen applicants who received RQ from Sydney processing centre and I have also seen those who received RQ prior to test invitation and even after the test.freetorch said:May I ask if when would be the RQ suppose to happen, is it before or after the date of application is in process? Thanks in advance.

Thanks for the reply. this mistake
i have made in the Address History,
on a address where I used to live 2 years
back. Not on my present address. So how
should I correct this. I already received AOR by email.
thanks,
