Femzade do you have any idea how much time Calgary office takes for RQ case to finalize ?

I inquired on the status of my application though my MP and he was told by CIC that now the processing time is 44 months on RQ applicants. I don't believe that ? May be Calgary office is simply giving this number to avoid further inquiries.
UOC, I am unable to say for certain Calgary's office processing time for RQ. CIC maintains that non-routine applications average 36 months. From the CIC publication 2014-02-06 released as part of communication materials for Bill C-24, there would be about 650,000 applications with more than 35 months waiting time if no action is taken on the bill (see this link - http://news.gc.ca/web/article-en.do?nid=832279). With Bill C-24 approved, CIC is promising to clear the backlog by 2015-2016.

For me, your best option to know what is happening to your application is to talk to CIC yourself and request up to date ATIP.

hello femzade,

As I informed on my application for
past residence address, I filled Street
number as Apt No.
example: 24 Robin Street, apt C
I entered 24 as Apt and in Street Number and Name: entered Robin Street
What should I do:
1. Should I send a letter to CIC about this mistake of mine, and also
which address should i send letter to??
2. Should I inform this first thing during my time of interview to the Interviewer.

regards,
Godhelp

freetorch, RQ can be issued at any stage of the process, it depends on the trigger. I have seen applicants who received RQ from Sydney processing centre and I have also seen those who received RQ prior to test invitation and even after the test.
Thanks femzade for your reply, appreciate it a lot.

Godhelp, sorry to hear about your mistake. I will give the same advice already provided by alexdive. Since the mistake is on your previous address and not current one, and ECAS only allows updating current home or mailing address, your best option will be to call CIC to notify them of the mistake. Except CIC contacts you, I have not heard of much success of anyone writing proactively to CIC to explain mistakes on their application.

The way you have described the mistake, I believe it is a genuine one and should not trigger any major delay in your processing. Even if not much success with the call, just attend the test and interview (when invited) with all your previous and current addresses proof and you should be good.

God will help you with this one, believe! :) ;)

thanks Femzade for the advise.
Can I still send the new Page with correct
apt number and street number to CIC,
referencing my case/client number (I already recived the AOR). May be they
attach it to my file. Atleast I would have taken
action from my end. If yes: which address should I
send the amended page to ???

Regards,
Godhelp

Sure you can do that if it makes you feel good. You may have to send to the Sydney centre - same address you mailed the original application. Remember to include your application reference number. Should be on your acknowledgment

Thanks Femzade,

I hope they simply attach the amended page (Question 6E) to my
application, and do not return my file due to this. I already have the AOR.

I don't think they will return your application due to a minor change. For my PR application I did send (faxed) an amended form to CHC London and it was added to my file without any issue.

Good luck!

thanks. Should I simply just post them the amended page (Page 2 of 7)
or resend them the whole application again.

thanks,

I just did the specific page .In my view, if the amended information holds no discrepancy with the already submitted one, go ahead with the amended page only .However, make sure that you have provided all the relevant details about your application, reason for sending the amended information etc. in an accompanying cover letter.

Good Luck!

friends i have one more
question. I used to stay in a single
family home address 2100 Robin St, Ontario, CA.
While filling the citizenship form in section 6E,
In the 'Apt Column' I had put 2100 and in 'Street Number
and Name' Column I have put Robin St. Is it something
wrong I have done on the application.

thanks,
Godhelp
