Hello all, anybody got a medical request from India? I thought none of India's Non-SDS applicants received Medical requests for this year. But it is wrong, Today I have seen in another thread that one Feb applicant received a Medical request in April and he is waiting for his medical update.

So Indian Non-SDS files progressing for Medical but having a lot of frustration due to the waiting game.

Dont worry its not only happening in your country. Waiting is real...

Submitted my application (non sds) since June2020. Did my upfront medical as well. Now this April2021 they're requesting for a medical. Do I have to do it again given I have done my upfront already last June2020? And why my application is almost a year already :(

because your upfront medical is expired or will expire soon (It has 1 year validity). did you get AIP? you applied from pakistan?
Requesting new medical is a good sign of approval.

Hi guys! did anyone see yesterday's IRCC update? does this mean that those of us who have not had the medicals done are excluded to have an answer by August 6?

Processing study permit applications for the fall 2021 semester
If you submitted your complete study permit application (including your biometrics and immigration medical exam) by May 15, 2021, you should get a decision by August 6, 2021, in time to attend the fall semester.

This is very bad.

three weeks ago didn't include medicals
seen people lately who applied without medicals. got refused before even they request it. if your application fails in eliglbity. they will just refuse. they won't wait until u do medicals to give u refusal. also without bio they won't give u approval or refusal. because it is needed for background check and security and that is part of eliglbity. first step before officer review documents.

oh yes. but i head from visa offices that they will process applications and won't give decisions until bio and medicals are done
I understand that, my concern is, if those of us who applied and not been to sent to take medicals will have an answer before the semester begins.

I know that, in my case I applied on February 17, got my Bio on February 24, asked additonal documents on March 29,, not updated since and now if i don't have medicals by May 15 (which I don't have) I will not get an answer, this is frustrating...

you will. they stated that they will try quickly to make a decision. current wait is 8 weeks as per today update. if ur application passes the normal time then rise a webform

I did it in fact I had risen two webforms, one last Wednesday which for lack of knowledge I filled it as if I was inside and the second on Thursday placed the office where they are working my application, in the case of the first one I received a response on Monday where they told me that they verifed the information I provided, however, it defers from the one they have on file, they invite me to resubmit my request by filling out another one, from the second one i have not heard nothing about it.
