Anybody tweeted to IRCC about the medical request situation from India? I stongly believe we need multiple voices, otherwise, we have to wait like this for uncertainty. :(

they will not send medical request until they process your eligibility. if you pass it you will get one. as asking for medical request is like asking for approval. i don't really advice asking ircc to send medical request

So does getting a medical request mean it's going good?

yes as far as i know. it means you passed eligibility and they are in the admissibility stage. seen many people get refusals before medicals requests.

it's not guarantee but it boosts your chances of approval

You are correct as per the history we are seeing. But I am not insisting to ask particular case. I may wrong, but my understanding is the Medical request not been sent for none of the applicants since January 2021 from India. Many of you got your medical request based on your country's process. I am just trying to understand why still not started in my country. I tweeted as below

May I know when you will start considering the Non-SDS applications from India for 2021? Waiting for medical request since Biometrics given for more than 3 months. But we could see Non-SDS consideration only happening who did their upfront medical. Thank you.

I have asked in a general manner and not about my particular case. By the way, I know your intention of advice, you are trying to take care of us too. Thank you. :)

you are right. given the current status in india. i think they have many blacklogs and their work is very limited. most embassies and high commissions reduced their services and their numbers of workers. i think currently they are prioritizing fall applicants with complete applications. especially those with in-class programs. most applications for online classes will be delayed.

Did you raise this as a webform? If yes, then do tell us what they respond. Thanks for your initiative and help.

Would it be possible for IRCC to process fasted and send me a medical request, if I provide a letter from the University stating that they require me for in-person classes in Fall?

Although in my application, my university is an approved DLI so there is no need for IRCC to think that my classess should be online as my university already has an approved covid readiness plan.

I dont think thats a good idea my friend, most of all applicants for fall intake are all pending right now and the website already instructed that a complete application until may 15 will get final decision on august.

Thanks, I don't think they are replying to tweets. But worth a try for sure. Do let us know if you get anything.
I am regularly following them on Twitter, they are doing pretty good service. That is why I have raised it. Even today, I have seen one person asked why his Upfront medical was not updated after a week of his application. IRCC answered very respectively. ;)
