Hello @Miss bee

I got my AOR on June 12th and last week, I got asked for CV details (publications and PhD advisor name) and military service details IMM 5546. Can you tell what stage my application could be at? Is it security screening?
Yes, receiving a request for CV details (including publications, PhD advisor name) and military service information (via IMM 5546) often indicates that your application has entered or is being assessed for security screening. This process is particularly common in applications from individuals with backgrounds in academia, research, or industries sensitive to national security, such as technology or defense.

Indicators of Security Screening:
1. CV Request: Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada (IRCC) asks for detailed academic and professional information (e.g., publications, research work) to assess if your background could raise security concerns.
2. IMM 5546 (Military Service Details): This form is used to gather information about military or paramilitary service, including roles, units, and dates. This is often part of the screening to ensure that applicants have no connections to activities deemed a risk to national security.

Hi @Miss bee, I just recieved the FN and BIL today, and linked the application to online account. FYI I submitted my application on 16th, June.
I am considering to prepare future steps, and encontering the following issues:

1. As I've changed address after submitting the application, I need to notice IRCC but it was not successful when I tried to change it through "Change my address" option under "my applications". The link I was using is:
https://www.canada.ca/en/immigration-refugees-citizenship/services/application/change-address.html
It seams the system cannot find my application. Not sure if it is because I just linked the application today, or I used the wrong portal for address change. Can you help to advise the right way to change my address?

2. I passed the medical exam about three years ago when I applied for the study permit. I used the old passport by then and now provided the new passport for my PR application. Not sure if the medical exam record will be automatically linked to the PR application or not. Should I submit the record so that they don't need to send me the medical exam letter? Can I upload it right now or wait until I get the medical exam request? And can you share the right portral for document submission?

Thank you very much for your help!

It should be when you actually goto work not when you sign contract.

For changing address, you can send webform however best option is to call them and change . Agent will be able to change it .
For medical examination, doesn’t matter if your passport has been changed . If you ever did medical exam before, you can use same one now . They will automatically find it when you send them E- medical sheet .

You can expect anything soon if you already cleared background checks.

@Miss bee Hope you are well and thank you for all the support

I received my GCMS notes today and it says
Eligibility : passed
Criminality: Passed
Info sharing: in progress
Security: Not Started

They asked for PCCs in ADR. Are PCCs used for criminality, in which case this shows to be passed already
How long can info sharing and Security take, given Security hasnt even started yet
I got ADR for PCC as well last month but at that time my timeline was

Eligibility : passed
Info sharing: Passed
Criminality: In Progress
Security: Not Started

So I thought its part of criminality check but yours shows somewhat different.
Submitted PCC on 23rd October and waiting for P1 now.
