Hi all.

I have 2 ongoing applications PNP nonEE (applied on March 28) and a Closed Work Permit (applied on March 22) supported by the PNP approval letter.
After almost 7 months, the WP was finally approved last week. The last step of the WP application was the background check.
Currently, the PNP nonEE is in the background check stage.

Do you think IRCC will use the same background check results for PNP nonEE?

As far as I know that would be the next step before P1

Thanks in advance for the answer.

Hello @Miss bee : its been 2 weeks since my P1 and no P2 yet. One of my good friend suggested to individually send P1 reply to a bunch of email adrdresses as this way people are getting faster reply. I wanted to check with you first if it is indeed a good idea? Here are the list of emails:

To - cic-etobicoke-landings@cic.gc.ca
IRCC.ClientPortal-PortailClient.IRCC@cic.gc.ca
Etobicoke-CIC-APR@cic.gc.ca
IRCC.ClientPortalOntario-OntarioClientPortail.IRCC@cic.gc.ca
ircc.clientportalprairies-prairiesclientportail.ircc@cic.gc.ca
IRCC.ClientPortalEast-EstClientPortail.IRCC@cic.gc.ca
CIC-Calgary@cic.gc.ca
cic-calgary@cic.gc.ca]
Yes it’s good idea to send emails to these offices . Sometimes it may work and they issue you COPR quicker .

Both background checks are different and they do more background checks in PR application.

Hi everyone,

What is the current timeline for the CBSA notes? I ordered them on 20th September, still waiting for them.
Is there anyone who have orders around that date and received them?

Thanks,

Hi, it's usually taking 9 to 18 months or more. In some rare cases, Comprehensive Screening takes 3 months also.
Thanks for your response.
I submitted in August 2023, but the security screening starts in August 2024. Does the 9 or 18 months count from the first day of submission or the start date of the security screening?

Your Security Screening time will count from August 2024, after security starts.

Hi, I received AOR + BIL today for my non-EE PR application but didn't receive BIL for my wife who is a dependent on the application. Is this normal? Should I wait or call IRCC?
