Yes that is documents are part of eligibility checks. You haven’t received PAL bcoz they are working on your eligibility. Once you pass this stage, you will get PAL .

You can ask for reconsideration, there is a WhatsApp group where close to 7 people got reconsidered after rejection and got AOR
Any idea, How long does it to take to get reply from IRCC on reconsideration? I think reapply is the best to save time when probability is very less.

Hi everyone,

I have applied for PR and have received AOR. However, my current open work permit (PGWP) is expiring Feb 2025. When should I expect to apply for bridging open work permit? I'm afraid it is too early now, but don't want to apply too late that I can't receive AOR before it expires.

TIA

Apply 3 months before your current work permit expires. Also do you have employer restrictions on your nomination certificate?

Thanks Miss bee.
Under "Restrictions on Employment", it says "No". Also, my work permit says that I can work for any employer in Canada.

Hi @Miss bee, I need your advice please. currently, I'm on an open work permit about to expire, and got a nomination from OINP with a work permit support letter, the name of my employer is mentioned on the support letter. I applied for a new work permit (closed) under my employer but I read that there is something called " employer compliance fee", my employer didn't pay that fees. What can I do now? I still have not received my AOR. Please advise

You have to apply for closed work permit. Your employer have to submit job offer in employer portal and pay $230 compliance fees . That job offer starts with A123457789. That number you have to put in work permit application form under job details section. If you apply closed work permit with this, your work permit will be refused. For now if you already submitted, your employer can submit job offer and pay fees. You can fill form again and put that job offer in new form and send it through webform asap along with $230 fees receipt copy.
