@Miss bee
I appreciate your comments.
1. I guess TEER 0, A, B is the ones used in NOC 2016. So my TEER 2(NOC 2021 version) equals to TEER B (NOC 2016 version). The "Language proficiency" Document is still required* for submission on the portal and probably won't allow me to submit the application without it. What do I upload instead of IELTS then?
2. How is the scan certified copy different from the scan of the original birth certificate? Isn't Certified translation+pdf of the original is enough?

Your biometrics are good for 10 years. If you done in 10 years, i don’t think so you will have to do again.
Really? i thought for PR we have to do all over again?

Just upload letter of explanation and screenshot from online that you don’t need language document.

Yes that should be good . Male sure they are all original scans . It should be original birth certificate, translated one and certified copy .

My bad yes there was new policy in effect from last year. For applying permanent residency visa all national have to give biometric again.
The Canadian government has announced that all applicants for permanent residence will now be required to submit biometric data as part of the application process. This new requirement aims to enhance immigration screening and strengthen border security.

The decision, announced by Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada (IRCC) this week, comes as part of ongoing efforts to modernize Canada’s immigration system and align it with global best practices. Starting from June 14, 2023, all individuals applying for permanent residence, regardless if they have already submitted them for a temporary residence permit. This marks a return to pre-pandemic procedures for PR applications.

The temporary public policy on biometrics expired sometime in Jun/Jul 2023. You’ll be required to redo biometrics even if you did one earlier.

If you haven’t received a BIL, you’ll soon get it and good luck!

You are right. All of applicants need to do a new biometric for PR even if they have a valid one for WP or SP.

In the tracker, my background changed from blue (in progress) to green (completed), but Eligibility remained gray (not started). It's still like that, even though my application is completed. My tracker was last updated in Jun 11th, so basically after Portal 1 they stopped uploading the tracker.
Congrats, your timeline is pretty fast, thought non Express Entry PR application is 11 months processing

Hey Everyone,

Sorry if this looks silly.

I uploaded the ADR through a webform instead of uploading through gckey. Will this cause any delays into my application?

Should I upload the ADR in my gckey as well? Or will this cause further delays/confusion.

Hello!

I have applied for non-express entry, and my timeline is as follows:

AR - 04 Sep 2023 25 Sep
AOR- Jan 03, 2024 Jan 15,
Bio and Medical request-03 Jan 2024 Feb 14, 2024
Bio and Medical approved-03 Feb 2024 Feb 25, 2024

I've been waiting for the results of my background check for a while now and still haven't received any updates. I am from Iran and have completed my mandatory service (Sarbazi).

1-Although the website mentions the waiting time is 11 months, I wonder how long it would take me to get my PR (considering my nationality and mandatory militry service)
2-Is it a wise decision to apply through Express Entry, as I am eligible for that now?
