Hello everyone!
I received AOR and BIL today, on February 19-th, 2025. I’ve applied on September 7-th, 2024. So, it took 5,5 months.

I also received an ADR request to submit a new IMM0008 form, and I still don’t understand how to do it. I linked my application to my account successfully. What should be my next steps to submit the new IMM0008? Should it be a pdf version of the form? What is the correct way of submitting ADR after AOR received?
I would appreciate your guidance! Thank you!
Check your cic account and upload it there as this request should be listed in your account. most ADR needs to be uploaded in your CIC account.

Hi

I ordered my gcms notes the second time and there is no movement on my application since Oct. Moreover, in Dec my file was transferred over to Etobicoke office (original Sydney). is that a bad sign. I have heard Etobicoke deals with non routine applications that require a higher level of review.

Also under the App Status Reason it says "Inventory-SPR" what does that mean

@Miss bee if you can provide your advice

Hi , why they rejected your birth certificate it was not translated or any other reason
I don't have birth certificate. So, I requested birth certificate from Indian embassy and attached that to the application. Seemingly CIC doesn't accept that. However, they do accept Senior secondary certificate instead.. it would have been so easy if they had mentioned it in the application guide
Cherry on the top my PNP expired, CIC also asked me to get PNP extended when resubmitting the application. Anybody in similar situation?? does it mean that my application will go back in the queue and I have to wait for AOR again for 5 months?

I am in the same boat; anybody knows how long does it take for extension of PNP nomination? on the website it says we can generate a webform for extension.

Hi @Miss bee,

My file was returned due to "Original birth certificate missing" issue on Nov 8, 2024. Originally, it was submitted on June 25, 2024. I have resubmitted my file on Nov 17, 2024. I know lot of applicants have resolved issue by calling IRCC and their files have been reconsidered. Unfortunately, when I come to know it was too late, I reached out to IRCC and they said my file was removed on 30 Nov, 2024.

There are few changes after my first submission of non express entry file.
1. I made sure all documents are up-to-date including PCC in second submission. Now, my PCC is expired will they ask for new PCC after receiving AOR?

2. Jan 2025 My parents are moved permanently to different place in my home country. We recently updated home address in parents' passport. However property is still remain under their name. Should I change their address in form IMM5406?

3. Will IRCC consider fund which is saved and invested in FHSA & TFSA account? only Monthly bank statements will fulfill available fund requirement?

Hie, sorry to interrupt but do you know how their application got reconsidered, is there any particular process. since I am in a similar situation right now, it'll be really helpful.

Hi @bravozora @Miss bee in my case do you recommend to call CIC and request to reconsider my original application and if I could send them Senior Secondary school certificate as birth certificate? what is the phone number for CIC?
If you or your spouse do not have a birth certificate for your Non-Express Entry PR application, you can submit alternative documents to prove your date and place of birth. Here iswhat to do:

1. Alternative Documents You Can Submit
If the birth certificate is unavailable, IRCC accepts the following alternatives:
School records (e.g., secondary or higher education certificates showing date of birth)
Passport bio-data page (showing full name and date of birth)
Government-issued identification (national ID, voter card, or other official records with date of birth)
Baptismal certificate (if applicable)
Family records or household registry (if available)
Affidavit from a parent, relative, or someone who can confirm your birth details. This should explain:
Why the birth certificate is unavailable
Details of your birth (date, place, parents’ names)
2. Get an Affidavit (If Needed)
Prepare an affidavit (a sworn statement) from a close family member who can confirm the birth details.
The affidavit should be notarized and include:
Full name of the deponent (person giving the affidavit)
Your full name and date/place of birth

Reason why the birth certificate cannot be provided

Signature and official seal of a notary public

3. Letter of Explanation (LoE)
Write a Letter of Explanation to IRCC outlining:
That the birth certificate is unavailable
What alternative documents you are providing
Any steps you have taken to obtain the birth certificate (if applicable

4. If You Recently Obtained the Birth Certificate
If you manage to get the birth certificate after submitting your application, you can upload it via the webform along with a cover letter referencing your UCI and application number.

Thank you for the response.
I linked my application to my IRCC account, and there’s no request under Supporting Documents there. Also, I went to the web portal through which we submit an application and there’s no ADR request either. So, I’m wondering what CIC account you’re referencing to?

On your IRCC account for permanent residency => Check full application status => then on top of Application information it says "view submitted application or upload documents" you should be able to upload there.
if you don't see anything there I would recommend calling IRCC or send the document as webform.
