No. As long as the Police Cert was issued after you last stepped foot in the country it doesn't matter how old the police cert is.Hi
I just want to know my File was returned because I have not attached my birth certificate translation and now I am reapplying , My PCC is over 7 months old and I have not visited India from last two year.
Do I need to get my PCC done again before applying or previous PCC will work?
Endorsing this to be completely true for completeness check. But they can request a new PCC if they feel like at any stage via ADR.No. As long as the Police Cert was issued after you last stepped foot in the country it doesn't matter how old the police cert is.
@Ramankaur26 : The PR Tracker says both BIL and Background Verification "in progress", but I have not received any update. Medical shows "not started".Just FYI my medicals were done in 2022 when I came to Canada so not sure if the medical will still be valid. The medical got updated or not ?
Personal Opinion based on person experience (don't start an argument) -Hi @Miss bee - I applied for Non-Express Entry under OINP-ISS in April 2024. I received my AOR in August and completed my biometrics the same month. My medical was passed in October, but there has been no progress on my application since then.
When I reached out to my MP, they informed me that my application is classified as "non-routine" and that they are unable to intervene. According to the IRCC tracker, my background check is still in progress, and eligibility has not yet started. I haven't received any ADR or any other communication from IRCC.
The only possible factor I can think of is a previous study permit refusal, but aside from that, I’m unsure why my application has been flagged this way. Could you provide any insights on what to expect next or why this might be happening? My visa office is Etobicoke.
Did you receive any message that they are processing BIL and BV? Just wondering if they send any notifications. I have not received any BIL yet and no updates.@Ramankaur26 : The PR Tracker says both BIL and Background Verification "in progress", but I have not received any update. Actually, I already received an invite under Express Entry in January 2025, but I didn't submit the application thinking that whatever triggered non-routine check under Non EE will be triggered under Express Entry as well. So thought it would be pointless paying for another application.Personal Opinion based on person experience (don't start an argument) -
I don't believe the study permit refusal is the main issue here. I am seeing people with criminal records obtaining citizenship within a few months just because liberals need vote bank for upcoming election. Given the current climate and the negative sentiment towards international students, it seems like Etobicoke is pushing everything to non-routine processing for PNP NON-EE. I've come across numerous similar cases on Facebook and WhatsApp groups, with many receiving unreasonable ADRs. Their processing times are now double the 11-month service standard, despite a decrease in applications. Good luck, but these are tough times for immigrants in Canada. It's truly disappointing that an organization in a developed country can't meet its own service standards.
Hi , why they rejected your birth certificate it was not translated or any other reasonHere is my timeline for PR application nonexpress - PNP Alberta
Sep 01 2024- Applied
Feb 18 2025 - Application Returned (Birth certificate rejected - requested Senior Secondary certificate)
Question: Would it mean that when I resubmit the application, it will be treated as a new application and go back to the queue? aka a five-month wait for AOR?
