Hi
I just want to know my File was returned because I have not attached my birth certificate translation and now I am reapplying , My PCC is over 7 months old and I have not visited India from last two year.
Do I need to get my PCC done again before applying or previous PCC will work?
No. As long as the Police Cert was issued after you last stepped foot in the country it doesn't matter how old the police cert is.

Hi @Miss bee - I applied for Non-Express Entry under OINP-ISS in April 2024. I received my AOR in August and completed my biometrics the same month. My medical was passed in October, but there has been no progress on my application since then.

When I reached out to my MP, they informed me that my application is classified as "non-routine" and that they are unable to intervene. According to the IRCC tracker, my background check is still in progress, and eligibility has not yet started. I haven't received any ADR or any other communication from IRCC.

The only possible factor I can think of is a previous study permit refusal, but aside from that, I’m unsure why my application has been flagged this way. Could you provide any insights on what to expect next or why this might be happening? My visa office is Etobicoke.
Personal Opinion based on person experience (don't start an argument) -
I don't believe the study permit refusal is the main issue here. I am seeing people with criminal records obtaining citizenship within a few months just because liberals need vote bank for upcoming election. Given the current climate and the negative sentiment towards international students, it seems like Etobicoke is pushing everything to non-routine processing for PNP NON-EE. I've come across numerous similar cases on Facebook and WhatsApp groups, with many receiving unreasonable ADRs. Their processing times are now double the 11-month service standard, despite a decrease in applications. Good luck, but these are tough times for immigrants in Canada. It's truly disappointing that an organization in a developed country can't meet its own service standards.

Only hope is that they remove job offer points from express entry in "Spring" and hopefully the CRS draws for CEC will be well under 500. You can probably get invited, apply and get PR before you get FD on NON-EE PNP.

@Ramankaur26 : The PR Tracker says both BIL and Background Verification "in progress", but I have not received any update. Medical shows "not started".Just FYI my medicals were done in 2022 when I came to Canada so not sure if the medical will still be valid.
Did you receive any message that they are processing BIL and BV? Just wondering if they send any notifications. I have not received any BIL yet and no updates.

Hi @Miss bee

Hope you are doing well!

My Timeline so far PNP - OINP Employer Job Offer : FWS

May 25 2024- Applied
October 3 2024 - Received AOR
October 17 2024 - Invitation to Pre-arrivals
October 16 2024 - Biometrics collection
Oct 18 2024 - Biometrics completed
Oct 23 2024 - Medicals Passed
Nov 25 2024 - Raised 4 Web Forums to add spouse along with PR Fee, Medicals, POC

Since then no update. Called IRCC they said they have received the web forum and once officer updates spouse will be added.

Tracker shows background verification in progress and eligibility not started.

Can you please suggest me what to do?

Actually, I already received an invite under Express Entry in January 2025, but I didn't submit the application thinking that whatever triggered non-routine check under Non EE will be triggered under Express Entry as well. So thought it would be pointless paying for another application.

Hi,

I received the BC PNP nomination through the International Postgraduate Stream (inland application) my spouse is included since she has been living with me here in Canada since August 2022.

As I am working on my Non-EE PR (PNP) application, I have a couple of questions:

1. I have a child who is a Canadian citizen (born in Canada). I included her in the family information section (IMM) of the application. However, I am confused where to include this child's information. My understanding is that she needs to be included ONLY under the dependent section of the IMM 5406 Additional Family Information form, since she is Canadian, unlike me and my spouse. So, is this the only place to include this child's information? Or, do I have to have a form for her also under the IMM0008 Generic Application Form?

2. Is the English language exam still a requirement for the non-express entry/PNC application? I noticed that there is no section in the application to upload English exam scores.

Hello everyone!
I received AOR and BIL today, on February 19-th, 2025. I’ve applied on September 7-th, 2024. So, it took 5,5 months.

I also received an ADR request to submit a new IMM0008 form, and I still don’t understand how to do it. I linked my application to my account successfully. What should be my next steps to submit the new IMM0008? Should it be a pdf version of the form? What is the correct way of submitting ADR after AOR received?
I would appreciate your guidance! Thank you!

Here is my timeline for PR application nonexpress - PNP Alberta
Sep 01 2024- Applied
Feb 18 2025 - Application Returned (Birth certificate rejected - requested Senior Secondary certificate)

Question: Would it mean that when I resubmit the application, it will be treated as a new application and go back to the queue? aka a five-month wait for AOR?
