one thing concerns me is, in the "checking processing times page", if you click the question mark to the right of the month number, it shows "...Your processing time may also be affected if more people apply to immigrate to Canada than we can bring in each year. "

Does this mean, if they've reached the goal earlier than Dec31, they'll not take any people(i.e. issuing copr) until the beginning of next year?

AR: mid May 2021
AOR: end of Jun 2022
"Ghost":rolleyes: PAL: Jul 9 2022
Bio: previous one
MR: mid Jul 2022
MP: Jul 21 2022
ADR: end of Jul 2022

ADR turned to "reviewing": Aug 3 2022

(*ordered GCMS notes with the almighty IRCC for a detailed status: end of Sep 2022)

so far: N.O.T.H.I.N.G. for both

#chanadianjoke

well I'm on a similar boat (or Semi-submarine sunk by the IRCC? lol)...it seems only the lucky few had come through and
got out of the jungle.
My advice for you is to order your GCMS notes thru CBSA. I have ordered mine thru IRCC last July 02 and never received anything even an extension request. That’s why on September 02, I’ve decided to order thru CBSA, after a month they sent an extension request and last Nov 03, i’ve received the notes.

Hello Everyone,
Please, regarding form IMM 0008 SCH4 ,item 4, there is this statement: 'Amount of unencumberred transferrable, and available funds you have in Canadian dollars'. For an individual already working in Canada and does not have all the required funds for a family size in the account, what is the best way to complete this part? Since one is employed, and paystubs have been uploaded, would that suffice? Is it possible to leave the space blank or one should fill in the required amount for ones family size? Thanks

I would say that you should enter the total amount you have in your bank accounts. If you are worried that your funds do not meet the minimum required for your family size and wish to support that with your current income, include those details as an explanatory note in your documents. There is an option to include an explanatory note when you submit your PR application. You can use that option to explain this issue and attach evidence of your current income. Hope this helps. Best Wishes!

OK! I suspected that something like that might be in play. Thanks for bringing that to our attention. Well, that might be one reason why we are seeing a pick-up in AOR delivery but not COPR delivery.

on general form for BOWP. does anyone know which option i should mark?

"
1.apply for a work permit with the same employer
2.restore my status as a worker
3.apply for a work permit for the first time or with a new employer
"

if i mark the option 2 i must check another option: either the 3 option or "apply to work permit with the same employer"

Yes print this email and attach with your work permit application. This is your AOR . You can apply paper based but remember processing time is more . It’s better to apply online and it easy .

So my view and point of contention is this. What constitutes as permanent residency from IRCC's perspective? Is it when an applicant get portal 1/PPR, the approval of the application, or when an applicant gets ECOPR? Because technically speaking, they could approve a decision now and time the ECOPR for when their targets reset in January.

Also, and again this may be down to IRCC's arcane wizardry, if we had all applied in 2021/early 2022, you'd think we would be captured in the targets for this year?

TBH from my understanding of corporations and government, these types of targets aren't easy to meet and over the December period it could be like Oprah: "AND YOU GET COPR AND YOU GET COPR AND YOU GET COPR"

they're already above the target for the year I believe. But I'll happily take the Oprah style "you get COPR,..." scenario :)

I think they are on the way to reaching the target numbers, but that doesn't mean that they already reached it.

However, I am concerned with inputs from the online spreadsheet - AORs are coming fast, and MPs and PALs are keeping up, with lots of being done in Oct/Nov. But Portal emails are completely stagnating. I really hope half of the people forgot to update their entries. Otherwise, IRCC might be dealing with processing applications and requirements now, but stopped (slowed down) providing COPRs to not exceed targets drastically. I really really really hope that is not the case. In any case, I am happy January is just around the corner.

We didn't even have 1 COPR in the last 2 weeks I don't think, other than the one I added which was sourced from a Facebook post from someone who applied in January 2022.

Jan 2022...

well, lucky for him/her/them. But what drives me crazy, other than the people's republic grade transparency/honesty, is the lotterism/roulettism..."yes, minister(/prime~) , very droll."
