Non-EDE.

Thank you so much for your reply..
not sure what to do as we clearly told the panel medical guys the purpose was for Parents sponsorship, however they have given the report stating it as EDE .
will they be able to fix it and re issue it or do we have to get it done all over again and pay again .
it is clearly the medical office mistake in this case ...

are there any other links on the parents sponsorship or a handbook other than the cic website that i could refer to so that i do not make any other mistake in the application process...

Don't worry about it too much. This will be sorted out by IRCC. The actual examination is identical as far as I am aware and it's only how the results are used that varies. This seems to be a common problem and in fact happened to me as well.

Hi ,
Can some one please explain the above and also as if the above is still the rule in 2018 .

What I understand from above is that if parents medical condition is such that it's expected that their medical treatment cost will exceed the average for next 5 years in a row then their immigration application would be rejected ? Is that right ? I think in case of spousal sponsorship it's different and their medical would be called EDE , right ? Thank you.

Yes, that's correct. PGP is non-EDE and spousal is EDE.
