NOC 4011

Hi,

I have been teaching to MSC Student as UNIVERSITY LECTURER in an Institute that is AFFILIATED with the university.

The institute itself renowned as the UNIVERSITY's Campus in another city.

My question is AM I eligible to apply under the noc category 4011 (University professors and lecturers)

You only qualify if you are teaching at an actual university. Otherwise no.

I am also planning to apply under NOC 4011 - University lecturer. I have gathered all the required documents along with proof of funds, English test and ECA reports. However the ECA report I received mentions my MSc degree is equivalent in Canada is 4 years BSc degree!!

I have completed my BSc (3 Years), B.Ed (1 Year) and MSc (2 Years) with distinction grades in all the exams from Indian Unviversity. I also have 6 years experience in the same field.

My query is - Am I still eligible to apply under FSW even my ECA report shows my MSc degree is equivalent as Canadian BSc degree?? Please let me know your responses on urgent basis as I have very little time remaining to send my documents. Your help is much appreciated.

The officer may look at whether your job fits the description of the lead statement. If the lead statement states university then they may reject your application because your job description does not fit the lead statement of NOC 4011. It is a bureaucratic process -- they do not actually care as much whether you did the work in NOC 4011. They care only whether your job letter description (and your place of work) fits the lead statement and work duties. However, whether you still apply is your choice.

Even people who think they qualify may not be accepted. Good luck!

I THINK if your job includes teaching at graduate level (Masters), supervising graduate students, and publishing research work, then you should be able to apply under NOC 4011 - whether the name of your institute is university or college.

If your job includes teaching/supervising only undergraduate students (Bachelors), then you are ineligible under NOC 4011.

VERY UNUSUAL AND UNBELIEVABLE
my noc 4011 - i sent the application from india on 18th December and my DD got charged on Friday - i came to know this via my bank today [ saturday in India ],
this is very unusual and i cant believe it myself.
Anyone please explain this, my application for NOC 4011 was received at CIC only on 24 th december, i sent it from india on 18th December and my DD got charged on Friday.
This is the communication that I received from my bank ICICI Bank through Royal Bank of Canada today,

a fellow in 4011, her application filed on 4 th dec , has received an email by cic regarding the return of her application. she says everything has been perfect. she doesnt know the reason yet. any ideas? cap filled ???
