If the University of Affiliation's name is clearly stated in your Work Experience/Employer's Letter head, then you are eligible. Be sure to meet up with other factors to make the 67% minimum for FSW.

ALL 4011 please note the facts below before applying so that you'll be sure that you are academically and experiencially eligible.

4011 University professors and lecturers
University professors and lecturers teach courses to undergraduate and graduate students and conduct research at universities. University professors who are heads of departments are included in this unit group.

lecturer – university

university instructor, engineering

Main duties

University professors and lecturers perform some or all of the following duties:
Teach one or more university subjects to undergraduate and graduate students
Prepare and deliver lectures to students and conduct laboratory sessions or discussion groups
Prepare, administer and grade examinations, laboratory assignments and reports
Advise students on course and academic matters and career decisions
Direct research programs of graduate students and advise on research matters
Conduct research in field of specialization and publish findings in scholarly journals or books
May serve on faculty committees dealing with such matters as curriculum planning and degree requirements, and perform a variety of administrative duties
May represent their universities as speakers and guest lecturers
May provide professional consultative services to government, industry and private individuals.

University professors and lecturers specialize in a particular subject matter such as biology, chemistry, anatomy, sociology, business administration or law.
Employment requirements
A doctoral degree in the field of specialization is required for university professors.
A master's degree in the field of specialization is required for university lecturers.
Licences or professional certification may be required for professors teaching future practitioners in certain professionally regulated fields, such as medicine, engineering, architecture, psychology or law.
Additional information
University professors who are also practitioners in their field of specialization must have the appropriate licences or certification.
Progression to senior positions within a department, faculty or university is possible with experience.

I am also planning to apply under NOC 4011 - University lecturer. I have gathered all the required documents along with proof of funds, English test and ECA reports. However the ECA report I received mentions my MSc degree is equivalent in Canada is 4 years BSc degree!!

I have completed my BSc (3 Years), B.Ed (1 Year) and MSc (2 Years) with distinction grades in all the exams from Indian Unviversity. I also have 6 years experience in the same field.

My query is - Am I still eligible to apply under FSW even my ECA report shows my MSc degree is equivalent as Canadian BSc degree?? Please let me know your responses on urgent basis as I have very little time remaining to send my documents. Your help is much appreciated.

yes you are.. be sure to have your experience letter on university letter head. that will help a lot.

Dear members I'm new in this forum and I really need advice from you. WES evaluated my education as Master's degree, also I attached document which shows that now I'm PhD student in my country (from Nov. 2014- Nov 2016). The problem is that I forgot to mention the entrance of PhD study in my attached sheet of schedul A (Personal history) CIO received my application on 19th November. Any ideas what should I do.

As per Applications we will accept – Federal skilled workers shows that against NOC 4011 that Number of application counted towards the 1000 are 483. I am included in thises number?

I want to know that i am working as lab instructor pharmacy under department of pharmacy an university and my Job Description shows university lecturer category for canada Immigration 2014 NOC 4011. If I apply NOC 4011 then it will be ok or not. Can u give suggestion it will be right decision to apply
