called CIC a few minutes ago and they gave me the application number after verifying my information.
i used the magicapp, and it was as easy as a piece of cake. the waiting time was of 16 minutes and a modest guy answered my call.after asking my name, date of birth and place of birth he told me that my application was received on 22nd december and is currently 'IN PROCESS'. then i politely asked him to provide me the UCI no. he told me he cannot give me that one and gave me the application number. i thanked him and said to him goodbye.
immediately i went to ECAS. but its not showing anything. but i am not depressed. i am just happy to hear that my app is in process.
i am hoping that my ECAS will come alive soon.

n what abt interviews....in quebec's case no interview held?

Both pcc of u and ur wife will be required.. as of interview u r right i haven't seen any doctor from our NOC being interviewed so lets hope for the better..
