First of all apologies for posting something a bit off topic. But I was going through the info regarding Express Entry 2015. As a doctor I think this system will be very difficult for us if a job offer through Job Bank will be made necessary. Canada requires foreign graduated doctors to undergo Medical Council of Canada licensing exam, which is a rather prolonged and difficult exam to clear. Wondering if only those who have cleared the exam will be considered in this EE 2015 as job offers can only be given once the candidate has cleared licensing exam. Am I right?

All the more reasons to get the applications in for FSWP2014.

Also, do u think I still have enough time to do it because I saw in other people saying wes evaluating MBBS cert takes more time. Pls enlighten me.

Bro WES no longer handles MBBS degrees. For medical doctors applying for FSWP 2014, Medical Council of Canada (MCC) is the authority for giving Educational Credential Assessment (ECA) report. You can check their website for further details and guidance. No need for getting SSC or H.Sc. documents verified from WES. The process will take you about 4-5 months at least.

Its never too late to apply but considering the time durations yoh might struggle to get your application in before 2015. In 2015 there will be a new system launched. Nevertheless you should apply for ECA from MCC and start working on all other documents and IELTS score also. Maybe save time for applying in 2015 system as I think same documents will also be required then.

Which occupation you are interested in ? If you want to apply for specialist physician or general physician than you must do your ECA from MCC other occupation like Sonographer need to assess from WES.

You have to make 10 posts and after that only are you considered a "member" and you get 2 stars on your display name, and you can then make changes to your profile and add a signature.
