Still feeling optimistic.

Here are the facts:
NOC 1111 got capped November 19.
Based on the latest update from CIC last December 19:
NOC 1111: 913 while NOC 1123: only has 822,
so it means we have more or less 91 more applicants before 1123 reaches the CAP. December applicants we need to pray Hard!!!!

Hi Team,

I have a weird question to ask. Yesterday, I had gone to professional photographer to get the revised pictures as requested by LVO. this is for me, my wife and 1.3 year old kid.

The question is that I tried alot to make my kid sit straight and look at the camera but he didnt look straight at all. he was just looking here and there, when i finally gave up and checked his most suitable picture, I found that his eyes are not actually looking at the camera but slightly somewhere else.

I am really not sure if I can use the same picture or give one more attempt? We had tried to take atleast 30 pictures and in all pics either he looks at the light, the wires or at us

What do you think guys?

I think the last update from CIC was on December 16th and it was showing 822(all together)applications received till Nov 19th
In the SS alone there are 50 entries of application received after 19th Nov.

So as u said its a close call for all applied after Nov 19th

a small update , just received an email to submit copies of Passports bio data pages that we will use to land Smiley, they mentioned that I can send scanned copies by email

yup.. Unfortunately, According to the agent they don't have any information regarding on the cap.

I'm so sorry to hear about your application being returned but don't give up as you have said, its your dream and it will surely come to fruition if you persevere. Learn from your mistakes and repackage yourself for EE, meanwhile you may choose another NOC that best suits your work experience for your EE application.

Thank you very much, mate! I'm pretty sure this is actually my NOC, I've just done it wrong somehow. I'll go for EE, but without much hope, to be honest. I'll try my chances on the new Québec process (it was my plan A before FSW 2014 opened).

I am sorry to hear about that.....I understand you pain......but I also appreciate that you are still active on the forum to help other who are waiting for a decision on their applications....you have earned a lot of respect my friend.....!!!!

But then when I sat back and gave a thought over it I was not able understand few things here.....CIC is acting weird I suppose....!!!!

* Your application was reviewed without payment being charged
* Your application was reviewed on Jan 12 whereas I am an Oct 23 app whose CC has neither been charged nor have I heard anything from CIC(good or bad)
* Now lets assume even if my app too was rejected......BUT there are others who have their app rec date near mine who have not been charged and who have also not heard from CIC......
*So if the CAP is not full......What the hell is CIC doing for last one month......!!!!

it's seemly impossible to figure it out how CIC works. In fact, the lack of transparency and the disruptions in the process got me a bit revolted at first. I mean, if there was a mistake with some apps, why don't stop everything to solve the problem first to, only then, restart the natural flow again? Also, why don't spare any information regarding the internal error, whatever it was?

As for the review of the process, they are really doing it before charging, which is good. Better than paying to be denied later, I guess.

Hi all,

I'm trully sad to inform you that my app from Oct 21st has returned. The reason stated was that the letters I sent had not enough proof of my work experience. Although my letters were a bit brief comparing to others, I honestly and deeply disagree with their judgement. If anyone want some more details, feel free to ask as I'll be glad to help. I've already updated the SS.

Relax, you guys! The NOC is not capped yet and appearently started to move again. The CIC rejection letter was dated from Jan 12th, but I had just received it yesterday.

I won't give up my dream to live in Canada. I'll take some time to think and evaluate the other ways I have to make it happen.

I calculated cap date about 1111, 1123, 2132, 2133 and 4011.
I assumed that the date of the last updating on 12.16 is till 10.31, my result is：
1111（n 931）11.14 cap
1123（n 822）12.10 cap.
2132（n 907）11.19 cap.
2133（n 777）12.23 cap.
4011（n 813）12.12 cap.
Other NOC should not cap till 12.31 .

Formula: (1000-n)/(n/184)
Note: 184 is days from 5.1 to 10.31
