I tried calling CIC last night. I got the same response as the rest who called. my file is not on the system yet. so basically it's not yet capped and applications are not yet processed. I am hoping to get a more concrete status by the end of the month. KeepTheFaith!

I am a December 19 applicant, with follow up document (original WES) last January 30.

Could this be true? And does this explain why itsns (a 1123 23rd Nov applicant) received PER while some mid Oct to mid Nov are still waiting??? God please favour me :'(

going backwards........most of the apps are received on the 31st of dec...now hope they dont cap out before reaching 1st dec....worried

Im a woman not a man. lol
I do not have an LMIA (I have been working on my PGWP for 11months now)
I sent my application on 21st November, CC was charged on 20th Jan.

My guess is as good as yours. I just thought it was worth sharing only because so many mid-october applicants through November havent heard from CIC and some December ones have. It may or may not be true. But it's also good news which means october and November applicants are still in the running. I just never knew "the first come first serve basis" was no longer in effect.

I believe my application would also fall under the cap, there is no such preference for applications from inside canada.

Guys I wwanted to inform you my application was refused stating the cap has been reached and my money will be refunded.sorry I am not sure whether this applies to all appliactions before nov 21st but it applies to all after it
