NOC code 1123 - Marketing/Advertising applicants 2014

HI,
I have applied under NOC code 1123.My application has reached CIC on 15th Dec 2014.
As per the CIC update on NOC cap shared on 12-12-2014 the NOC 1123 cap was 385. however, the latest update on 16-12-2014 says CAP fillied is 482 and there is one more column added on number of applications completed the Completeness check but, are awaiting MI review. Such applications are 340 in number for NOC 1123. Which makes the total of 822 applications already ready for CAP and hardly approx 175 caps to be fillied to reach 1000 number.

Also, when they say 340 are done with completeness check, which mean these applications must have reach almost 1-1.5 months prior.
Thus, in last 1 month many more applications would have reached for my NOC and mine have reach only on 15th

Am i still in race ?? I am very worried.

Can seniors please suggest or give their views.

Hello,

To the above applicants with NOC 1123 and who applied on Dec. 15 2014, did you receive any update on fee processing or PER etc..?
According to DHL, my app reached the CIO on dec 15 with NOC 1123 but I still havent heard from anyone.

Hi Smron,
A lot of people under this NOC and couple other NOC's are waiting to hear from CIC. Good luck, and don't worry - it takes time. Sometime some people get charged early on and then get a PER after a while. Some people hear nothing for 2 to 3 months and then get charged and reciever a PER in a much shorter span of time. There's not much you can do but wait it out. hope this helps.

Thank you so much for the clarification. Does the CIC take into account that the draft payment cheque expires 6 months after its date of issue? I issued it a few days before I sent the application by courier. According to DHL the package was received by the CIO on Dec 15th 2014.

Also, how do I +1 people in here? Many helpful posts...

Yes the CIC is aware that drafts expire after 6 months, that's why they've stated on the application guide that you need to make sure your DD is sent out within 30 days from date of issue. You're good since you sent it just days after it was issued.
You cant +1 people yet because you're total number of posts is still less than 10. As the number of your posts increase, other features of the forum get activated under your profile accordingly.

i don't think its due to CAP, if CIC charged his application and then got rejected, that means there is something wrong with the application, if cap was filled then as per my knowledge they will not charge cc and return the application unopened.
