Thank you so much

I am showing copy of her canadian citizen certificate, canadian passport, her sr.secondary certificate having name of her parents, her date of birth certificate (but it don't have her name, only her parents name) and her electricity bill.

Is that sufficient? Shall i also attach her 10th certificate having her date of birth and Father name?

Please advise..

Hi Cathey,

Sr sec certificate should be enough in this case.
Best of Luck for your open & shut approval case :)

Hi Friends

I want to know if i need to fill the form "Additional DEpendants/Declaration form" with my application package.

I am already adding my spouse & 2 daughters in "Generic Application Form for Canada (IMM 0008)"

As it is mentioned that This form must be completed by:
You, the principal applicant, on behalf of each of your dependants not included in the Generic Application Form for Canada (IMM 0008).

Shall i include my father & mother-in-law (my husband's parents) in this form? or leave it. They are not accompaning us to Canada but may visit us in future.

Thanks

Hi friends,

I have also applied in the same category. It seems things are going very slow. Is there any reason to be slow ?

Hi Cathey,

Suggest you read the Document Checklist. On Page 2, it states that this form should be filled and signed by prinicipal applicant if the applicant has more than 5 dependents, whether they are accompanying you or not.

Manoj

They are currently processing applications from 15th May +/-. How long has it been for you Krunal? Currently average CC charging time from time an application landed at CIC is running at 79 days.

HI Manoj

I have a question about the proof related to children's information.

Below I am quoting and referring to the 3rd bullet point under point 17 (Children's Information) in the check-list for applications under the FSWP:

"Proof of full custody for children under the age of 18 and proof that the children may be removed from the jurisdiction of the court"

The above point makes no mention of whether it is applicable to adopted or biological children, or both.

My childre are below 15 and i am attachind DOB certificate, passpost copy & their 5th & 9th passing report.

Is anything else required?

Please comment. Thanks.

Hi, that comment applies to 'adopted children' not biological. All you require is your children's birth certificates :)

Bro Ahmad - Nothing like that is required. Please send only the documents that are in the document checklist on the CIC website. Do not burden them with unnecessary stuff as they will get irritated :P

Guys what do you think which would be most appropriate city for us Marketing professionals? In terms of opportunities..

Rick, Apologies for late response. My application reached to CIC on 22nd May. I feel they are taking too much time this year compare to previous. Anyways. Let us hope for the best.

Here's a little trick, Go to Linked In and check the vacancies in your field. The Canadian Region/City that comes up tops with the most openings in your field is your likely winner. :)
