Hi Guys!

I ve sent my application a week ago, it is already in CIC - NOC 1111. I work in PwC, because of the bureaucracy of a big firm i could not receive a letter stating all of my responsibilities, but i have included a letter of circumstance, together with he contract and the letter confirming the period of employment. Do you think the fact that there was no letter from employer conforming responsibilities is vital, as pwC is well know worldwide.

If this is critical do you think the application will be returned or just they will ask to provide additional information?

Also, when CIC changes your credit card, does it mean they have started review, or what?

Hi all,

How do we even know if our application was accepted, reached the right officer for review..? I don't know what to expect next. I had submitted my application and was received and signed by authority there on May 12 2014.

Now, I see some 43 applications were counted against 1112 category as of June 9 2014. My CC is not charged yet.
- Does it mean my application may have been returned and could it on its way back to my postal address in India?
- when they say 43 applications accepted, is there also a date cut off, upto which they have reviewed all application, or is it then randomly pick and process application for review?
- By when is the latest I can expect some sort of reply? Either positive or negative?
- if the application is rejected for whatever reason, do I have to wait for their letter post that would explain the reason, or do they send email notification.

I would be really greatful if someone can help answer my question.

I'm stressing out right now... My IELTS is booked for June 21, won't get results for two weeks after

I really don't think I'm going to make it under 1111 cap Cry

I am so mad at myself for not checking NOC lists sooner - I honestly didn't think 1111 would be on the list at all.

I will still send in my application as soon as I can... Guess around first week in July. But it's so sad to know that it probably isn't going to be enough.

Congrats to everyone who are getting their applications received Smiley I wish you all the luck in the world

hi gurdeep0878,

just make sure that everything is complete, in order and send your application right away to CIO.
it is better to take chances, you might make it to the cap.
Goodluck and all the best.

CIC is still reviewing applications in the week of May 5, 2014, so they haven't reached yours as yet. The update posted to their website gives the number of completed applications that have already been counted as a part of the cap. CIC hasn't said as at what date it is, but many believe it to be as at May 1. You can therefore rest easy for now. Your time will come eventually. We are all waiting anxiously and with bated breath.

You should know if your CC/DD has been charged by the end of June, if positive. If incomplete/negative, there will be no email notification, but your entire package will be returned to your address.

You answered all of my questions. Thanks. Just one thing though - How are you so certain that they are reviewing application as at May 5th week? I am not sure if they say that clearly anywhere on the website.

I wish they gave a little more insight on where each one of us are, and when we can expect to hear from them.

Hello, obryan is correct because historically, CIC has never posted accurate figures but figures that are usually 5 to 6 weeks old. This theory is based on study/review of past FSW cycles like 2011 and 2013. You can check threads from those years to read the experinces of people from those cycles so you can get a better understanding of how slow CIC can be in providing up to date statistics. Just sit back and relax, the important thing is that you submitted a complete application. Whenever they get to it, you will recieve your PER. ;)

Hello everyone,

Still no PER for May 5th applicants.
I am so anxious and been checking my email every 30 minutes.
Hell yeah, this waiting game is getting stressful.

But let us all keep positive, Cheers everyone..

Hey all, the waiting game continues. Just keep your head up and easy on checking your emails often, lol. Eventually the PER rain will begin, I wish us all the best. :)

In the main 2014 applicants thread, people post when their credit cards or demand drafts are charged. Those being charged right now are from 5th-7th May.

Hello everyone,

Please, am intending to send out my application by end of this June.
Is it late? Can I still be considered? Does anyone know?

And the application fees, am I paying for myself the principle applicant and my wife also?($550+$550),
or just for me the principle applicant($550).
