I am planning to apply under 1111.
Just a question on points for age. My birthday is in Nov 1978 and I am sending my application hopefully by mid of Sept by courier. I also checked the London, UK office processing time is around 27 months. Can you tell me how many points I can get for my Age (35 or 36 or 12 or 11 points)-12POINTS How they consider the points?Provided your application gets there before your birthday. from the application received date? or any other date?Application date received or otherwise called Stamped date.
Summary
For you to get the 12 points, you application must get there before XX Nov 2014(before your birthday)
Please advise
Thanks
Hi, job title is not important if you have a reference letter with roles matching those on the NOC list for 1111 up to 80%. You said you perform some of the duties. Some will not work as it has to be Most. Adjust your reference letter accordingly. Chartered accountant designation is not required for FSW consideration.depressedfish said:Do people applying under NOC 1111 must have accountant in their job title?
I do some of the job duties in NOC 1111 but my job title is "Market Risk Analyst".
I also got Chartered Accountant designation in my home country if that makes any difference.
I am sorry for hijacking this post.rhkhan said:Hi everyone,
Can someone please share his/her thoughts about my scenario mentioned below:
I am ACCA qualified. Since there is a Mutual Recognition Agreement (MRA) between ACCA & CGA-Canada, I opted for that option and got CGA-Canada certificate this year. I also hold Bachelors degree by means of ACCA & OBU partnership.
As stated on CIC official website:
Education
You must have:
a Canadian diploma, certificate, or credential
OR
a foreign educational credential, and an Educational Credential Assessment (ECA) by an agency approved by CIC to show it is equal to a completed Canadian secondary or post-secondary educational credential.
My question as if I qualify for first case which is Canadian Certificate?
Looking forward to a guideline. Thanks.
Your job title doesn't sound like an accounting role to me try looking if it fits in other noc's that can be more fitting to your roles. But if you really think you're doing most of the roles stated ni noc1111 then go ahea and apply : )depressedfish said:Do people applying under NOC 1111 must have accountant in their job title?

All the details are available on FAQ section regarding MRA between ACCA and CGA.Bobtheaccountant said:I am sorry for hijacking this post.
I am in the process of applying for the CGA through ACCA and OBU.
1)Can you provide some info on the timeline, how long it took CGA to confirm your qualification after you have submitted the certificate from the online course for tax and law?
2) Could you kindly advise how much is the initial payment for this application?
3)How much is the yearly subscription for CGA?
4) Can we choose which province CGA we want to?
Thanks
Hi, you can apply in any other eligible NOC in which you have 1 year full time work experience within the last 10 years.Mrs. M said:Do I need to apply with the noc that I had the most years of work experience?
