Do you have copies of work evaluations? Contracts? promotion letters? can you get co workers or subordinates to write reference letters describing your duties as a senior manager? All the evidence you can give them to show you have experience as a senior manager the better?
I really dont know what to say my friend. Im sure you must have given all the docs proving that you were working in the positions mentioned. How is one supposed to give more proof ? CIC must have gone through the application and docs twice before issuing PER. Please keep is informed on your case. Do try the suggestion on reference letters from colleaugues etc. wish you all the best and God bless.vduller said:Sorry previous messaged sent too early.
Need advice from more experienced members of the forum.
I'm an NOC 0015 applicant with Singapore Visa Office.
Application Received: 23 Jul 2014
CC Charged: 10 Nov 2014
PER: 18 Nov 2014
AOR: 02 Jan 2015
I got an email this morning from SVO basically stating that they want more evidence that I qualify for the NOC I'm applying for and I have 30 days to respond.
Briefly, my background:
- 2 recognized University Degrees (one is Law) as certified by WES
- 15 years work experience with last 7 years as Senior Group Manager role (although since my company is Japanese and is practicing a flat - organization structure, our job titles are not the usual titles, my role is designated as Regional Group Manager)
- from 2008-2012, I served as Group Manager for our Philippines office heading 4 divisions directly reporting to the President while also serving as Company Treasurer reporting to the Board of the Directors
- from 2013 till present, I was transferred to the Asia regional office based in Singapore to serve as Regional Group Manager with 2 regional divisions reporting to the Regional General Manager (My role is 2 levels below the Regional President), I was also retained as Company Treasurer of the Philippine office
- during this same period, I also serve as President of 2 family owned businesses but these credentials I did not present as it might "confuse" the assessors why I'm holding too many jobs at the same time.
Any advice on what else I can send to prove that I'm qualified for under the NOC?
Thank you.
There is a distinction between 0013 and 0015. 0013 covers other business services...meaning companies that render services to other businesses. 0015 is services not classified elsewhere.vduller said:Thanks for the advise. I'm currently getting other documents to prove that the duties I perform matches the main duties indicated in the NOC. But most of these documents are internal company documents like policies I wrote or approved, company goal sheets that I signed and our organizational structure to show that I report direct to the President and that I have several middle managers reporting to me. Are these the kind of documents that must be sent?
I will also try the reference letters from co-workers. Currently, I have about 13 documents that I'm thinking of sending plus the reference letters. Will this be too much?
As for my industry, since NOC 0015 covers trade, broadcasting and other services n.e.c., I assumed my industry would be covered here though my industry is not really trade nor broadcasting. I assumed that my industry would fall under "other services n.e.c.".
