NOC 0015 whats happening folks

Had emailed CIC on 19th Dec 2014 about my status update, Got reply on 25th Feb 2015
I think my file is transferred to New Delhi.
Can you guys confirm is it true assumption or a myth.

I applied as noc 0015 because I was a CEO of on-off line newspaper company.

noc 0015 -
Senior managers in this unit group plan, organize, direct, control and evaluate, through middle managers, trade, broadcasting and other service companies not elsewhere classified. They formulate policies which establish the direction to be taken by these companies, either alone or in conjunction with a board of directors. They work in establishments in broadcasting and related media services, wholesale trade, retail trade, accommodation and food service, and other services not elsewhere classified.

So I was 100% sure that I am in noc 0015 but CIC just told me that they returned my docments because working experience.

My main duties are just exact same as CIC required.

But why?

I sold my company in 2010 but it still publishes printed newspaper and also has website for news.

OnOn, I am very sorry to hear this.
But, this CIC's answer is vague to me on several points:
1. was your app RETURNED or REJECTED? the difference is huge
2. what does it say beside "because of working experience"? does it differ from the duties in the noc you have applied under, or you have insufficient experience (duration wise)?
anyway, if your duties match the lead statement in the noc and you have over one year experience, and you do have 67 or above points total with your app, you should do what the other member did, when the injustice was did to him too. he consulted an immigration lawyer and they have written an appeal to the cic's decision, stating again noc's description, matching it with an experience you are submitting, and stating again that they have probably misread the points or something (be polite of course, in any case, do not sound angry, but rather trying to help them resolve the problem they have made), make a point that they are obliged to respond within seven days or it will automatically mean that they agree or something (the lawyer will know that part) and have the lawyer sign it and stamp it, and send the letter to the fax number stated in the email received with your NER, where it says that is should not be used for other purposes beside change of address or something. this person that did this, said that they have replied within two days, with changed decision!
however, if your app was RETURNED, i'm am not sure if yo could do the same thing, but nothing costs you to try.

2. I was a CEO from May in 2007 to October in 2010 which was approved on tax documents.

I also have another senior manger experience so my point was 71 so I was in safe point.

Your answer is a lot of helpful for me and I will do whatever I can do as you advice.

ok, so it is not rejected. did you receive your file back? how many days have past since that conversation of yours?
it is not good that you have all that info only by word, since you cannot prove anything (that the reason is "experience" whatever that means, and that you can re-apply (and what did the officer mean by that? the program was closed three months ago!!))
still, i would do the same thing i told you in my previous email (the experience of another member) consult the imm lawyer, state all of the facts, state the date and time of your conversation with the imm officer and send it. have nothing to lose. good luck!

I called to CIC yesterday. They told me they sent my documents in Feb... still does not reach to me .

They didn't even charge me.

do you know anyone whose file was sent back to you place from sydney? i mean, do you know how long it travels?
you should have the letter of explanation form cic with you in order to reapply.. the only thing is that the program is closed... but, once you get it, send it back right away, stating all that it happened in the meantime, and pointing it to their mistake. you never know, they probably did make a mistake and they might correct it on time

CIC send files through normal post, Canada post it takes more than a month to receive out side canada.

i know cic send out their mail through a snail mail, but for example, my first application was also returned, and it took 24 days to get to me. i also live outside canada, in europe. it depends on the location, i believe

I expect it would take about a month.

there you go then. as soon as you receive it, resend it with a letter from a lawyer as a cover. that's my opinion, at least. good luck, whatever you decide to do!

I am 31st app in this NOC. Still no update. Seen some other NOC being returned due to cap reached.

Is there anyone with 30th and 31st app date.
