Government/IRCC will have an announcement on process (if and when for 2022).

Does anyone know where to get the info about starting the process in 2022?

Canada is going through some pretty major crises (inflation, healthcare, etc.) and has a huge immigration backlog already so likely pushing any announcement as late as possible. They only did the draw in the fall last year so hasn’t even been a year. Can only imagine that announcing that Canada is accepting another around 37k seniors while also announcing ERs are closing is not a good look.

Adding that some people have died in the ER waiting,so needless to say, probably not the best look
