No medical result on Ecase

Hello,

It's been 2 months that Ankara recieved my husband's application, and 3 months since we filed his app. My eCase doesn't mention anywhere that they have got his medical result. I've checked with his doctor and it seems he sent the meds in mid May. Is this normal that eCase doesn't upload such information? Or should I contact them? According to different threads in this forum everyone has this info on their eCase. Just a little worried.... Appreciate any feedback.

Dont worry I applied for my wife in April and hasn't shown up to this day about medicals its just ecas unreliable

Hi Melisaa, medical results are supposed to be electronically transferred now from the various designated doctor's abroad and if you have any concerns at all call CIC directly to make an inquiry. They should be able to figure it out as Ottawa generally receives the medical results 1st and flags/notifies the visa office abroad.

There are always exceptions; however, most people's e-cas does display medical results received if they were sent in with the original application. Yes e-cas is unreliable but always better to double check for your own peace of mind. With CIC always err on the side of being proactive on your file to ensure there are no mistakes. In any bureaucracy there are always administrative or system errors so you do need to follow up whenever possible. Blessings.

sometime ECAs are not updates , dont look alot ECAs , good luck , if you think that they didnt received your E meds just email your embassy and they will reply back .

I'm in the same boat as you. File was transferred to Ankara almost three months ago and no mention of medical results received on eCase. Our file had the original medical receipts from the doctor and the doctor sent the medical exam/results through electronically (vis-à-vis the new system CIC uses now). From what I've gathered eCase is as reliable as the immigration/visa officer updating it, as it's not generating automatically like GCMS notes are. I've read that for some applicants eCase has gone straight from "Application Received" to "Decision Made" with no mention of meds received or file in process. If in doubt you could always call the CIC Call Centre and see what they say.

Thank you everybody. Just this morning (Ankara local time) they added medical results under "Application Received" status on my e-Case.
