The information I have is the case officer is required to update the ECAS status as a critical routine anytime he/she works on your file so I assume there is an activity on our files at least. Mine was updated first in late January 2014 for the first time since it was updated at CIO in July 2013 when my PER was issued and then it was updated again on the 25th of April 2014.

Maybe we all have the same case officer at AVO...

Is it individual ECAS that they update or the ECAS platform generally. It should be April 25th for everyone. Maybe anyone with a different date on ecas can dispute that.

I believe the update is for the ECAS platform.

Nobody knows how AVO does their thing but I seriosly doubt that d last persn with PER will get MR first at least its very evident from what I see from the seniors forum except there are issues with one's application and background checks , and PNP is usually faster than FSW,, even if not I do not pray that they will leave may applicants and start with decemeber people but God and AVO knows best anyway

Gdday all. @ BA it doesn't work like that nah. That they said first come first serve doesn't mean it shld be the first person that applied in 2013. Our applications will b shared among d staff and it can be anybody nah. It might even be the last person that applied in 2013 will be d first to be called for medicals.

Hello people, Unilag is yet to receive verification mail from WES and WES says it was sent May 7. I called d call center for WES, was told they had closed for the day. What else can I do?

The Unilag email account was checked by two trusted people. They saw other mails from WES but mine was not there....

WES to the best of my knowledge dont send EMAILS they send the mails by post mail. They send copies of ur transcript via post., and that would take abt 3weeks from experience. if unilag replies via email is what i dont know.

The request for my transcript verification by WES was sent to my university in Nigeria through email and confirmation was by same means. One of my friends paid for copies of his transcript to be sent by WES to his uni in Nigeria for verification through courier after his uni claimed that they did not see the email sent to them by WES. His uni then confirmed his transcript by sending verification letter to WES through courier, paid for by him. The fact remains that most of these uni don't check their emails and it's sad and even when they do, they are too slow to respond and u have to chase them to do their job.

U have to allow AVO request for updated POF if they deem it necessary.

I think the 25042014 update is for the exams system and not for individual applicant. Mine is showing same date

Ladies and Gents,

I recently read in our sister forum that someone was rejected based on the POF, CIC has updated its web page and the POF seems to have increased.

I feel it is better we send another POF when AVO sends MR, just to be on a safe side. Our applications are likely to be processed based on the updated POF.

Based on the guys posts, he claimed AVO did not ask him to send another POF but he was disqualify based on that.
