I agree with you Floxy! It seems they wouldn't start with our applications until there are done with our seniors, that was why i suggested we try and find out how far they have gone with our seniors. Tried asking on their forum but didn't get any response. We should only worry if they are done with our seniors and we don't get updates . Personally i would only get worried if may applicants don't get updates from July! Then we can send joint messages with one voice.

What puzzles my mind again is that fresh set(2014) has started, other VOs are talking. They did not acknowledge if they have received ones file or not. When you send CSE to cio during the initial process, they respond at the time stated. Are they not all doing Canada immigration functions?

My brother, your emotion was not clear and calm when you were sending a message to AVO on this forum and I was wondering if this an official AVO forum.I said I don't think AVO will respond to any manner of CSE concerning the status of your application even if it is pessimistic, it is defensive pessimism ( nobody enjoys being ignored), if I may ask you how many have you done and how many were replied?I will be glad you can prove me wrong.

Wondering is an understatement, as if you're on an official AVO forum. I've not sold my emotion, am still in charge, its still when I say its still. If you don't mind you can share with us the content of your well worded email to Chris Alexander which its anticipated response will prove you right.

Thanks

AVO will start when they will start if you like have David Cohen write them on your behalf. They work according to schedule and no amount of pressure can change that. if you really want to know what is happening on your file, get gcms notes. Its not yet one year from the dates PER was issued so for me I will wait till the anniversary of my PER. That was what someones gcms note suggested if you can still recall. Please take your mind off accra and get very busy with other things. Incase you are bored and need something to engage you online, PM me.

Floxzy,I couldn't agree with you more. I'm talking from experience. AVO is one visa office that seems indifferent to pressure.
As for me,my certification process is keeping me quite busy and it has helped to take my mind off Accra (Of course not completely oh abeg! :) ).

Cheer up guys,soon and very soon.............. :D :D :D

Floxzy has said it all abeg. Eventhough it could be frustrating, truth is, it will get to our turn. I sometimes wonder what people that applied in 2011 or prior went through before they got their PRVs..afterall, they obviously got to the finish line years later..PATIENCE people, we'll start getting updates soonest. :o

guys be patient

I remember quite vividly that at some point our seniors became tired of being patient and they started sending mails to Accra. At some point,MR started flowing in as expected.Just make it simple and polite.

Andrew dont worry when that time comes, nobody will need to push anyone to send AVO mails. The thing will just start flowing by itself. Personally I think anything after July/August will be fine. One year from time PER was sent out by CIC.

All right,Floxy

Will be writing to them on Monday.. I can't force them to do something but I am entitled to know the status quo. Will also write the Minister.

Good day all. Never thought one could mail AVO sef. It s good to mail them to find out what s causing the delay and all. Cos if you don't how will you know when they ll be true with 2011/2012 applicants?honestly I don't know why I have the feeling that they ll start sending out MRs to 2013 applicants this year and they ll be through with us in a matter of time cos we r not much. #isomuchbelieve#

Can we view the processing times from the link below.
http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/information/times/perm/skilled-fed.asp

I got one interesting information from Accra's website and i think it is the reason they do not respond to such request.Read this :

"…an application in process: If you already have an application at our office, we will answer your question only if our average processing time has been exceeded or if there is a problem. Otherwise, you should assume that your file is proceeding normally. Processing time starts when your complete application has been received in our office and ends on the day the final decision (i.e. approval/refusal) leaves our office."
