I got one interesting information from Accra's website and i think it is the reason they do not respond to such request.Read this :

"...an application in process: If you already have an application at our office, we will answer your question only if our average processing time has been exceeded or if there is a problem. Otherwise, you should assume that your file is proceeding normally. Processing time starts when your complete application has been received in our office and ends on the day the final decision (i.e. approval/refusal) leaves our office."

Accra VO has since February this year stopped in-person submission & collection of all documents, 'pp' inclusive.

AVO will start when they will start if you like have David Cohen write them on your behalf. They work according to schedule and no amount of pressure can change that. if you really want to know what is happening on your file, get gcms notes. Its not yet one year from the dates PER was issued so for me I will wait till the anniversary of my PER. That was what someones gcms note suggested if you can still recall. Please take your mind off accra and get very busy with other things. Incase you are bored and need something to engage you online, PM me.

Nice one there Floxzy, these people keep making me laugh. I know alot of us are not well informed, hence a reason for the impatience. As long as your date of PER isn't up to a year to date, please forget it, AVO will not respond to your CSE either you want it or 'YES' ;D
The truth is, you guys might need to come and enroll in our University of Patience... Slow and steady they say...
We'll all get there, believe me and keep the faith.

I remember quite vividly that at some point our seniors became tired of being patient and they started sending mails to Accra.At some point,MR started flowing in as expected.Just make it simple and polite.

Broda Andrew, I must inform you that the mails that the seniors sent weren't what 'gingered' AVO into releasing those MRs. I understand the suspense we've been put but these people have set-standards and guidelines which they follow.
Let's keep our fingers crossed, when the tsunami of MRs starts, we will all forget the long wait and become joyful.

Thank you very much for your concern, Pataki. But I wish we all would focus on what we would do in Canada than on when we would get to Canada. If there are professional accreditation or exams that need to be done, now is the best time to do that and not when you have been given your PRV and are left with less than one year to land.

It is not about being patient or impatient, neither is it about being informed or not informed, every info rhat anybody may claim to have is available on the net for others.The fact is CIC categorically stated that the applications would be completed within a year of (it was not stated after PER) and other VOs are clearly on track while it is apparent that our darling AVO is not in the bandwagon. Are you saying that we should not be concerned? Pls since your are 'informed' can you tell the exact date your app was recieved by Accra and how I can know my own date? (No offence intended oo)

Dada could argue you can know when AVO received your file by ordering a GCMS; Accra don't send AOR & yet they want you to believe the processing of your application is proceeding normally. Wonderful!
